The Columbus Crew had a chance to become the first MLS team to reach the knockout rounds of the
CONCACAF Champions League, but fell short with just seconds remaining as a late equalizer forced
the Crew to settle for a 1-1 tie vs. Deportivo Saprissa at Crew Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Crew looked on its way to clinching a top-two spot in its group before Alexander Robinson
headed home an equalizer in the second minute of stoppage time to negate a first-half penalty kick
from Robbie Rogers.

A big game for Kenny Cooper in Germany's DFB Pokal. Cooper had 1860 Munich's second goal in the
50th, doubling their lead over Hertha Berlin after Rasmus Bengtsson put the ball into the back of
his own net in the 10th. Cooper left the game for Alexander Ludwig in the 68th minute. Hertha would

had not been quite as 'obtrusive' as it's tended to be but that takes nothing away from the Sky
