rapidamente "pegou de estaca" na equipa madeirense. Hoje com 44 anos, Alexander Bunbury está
retirado do futebol, após ter terminado a carreira nos norte-americanos do Kansas City Wizards e
acompanha a carreira dos seus dois filhos: Teal (21 anos) e Logan (16) e nascido em Portugal.

When Teal Bunbury scored his first goal for the U.S. national team in January, it seemed like it
would be the first of many national team goals for the Sporting Kansas City striker.
Unfortunately for the U.S. national team, any more international goals Bunbury scores won't be
for the United States.
Watching the U.S.-Chile last night, I couldn't help feeling that we've finally entered the era
of bilingualism in U.S. football. The game was a showcase of new players from both sides, pitting
