One of Milan's prominent Uncle Dudes (from the Pippo Inzaghi gang),
Alessandro Nesta, scored a double against Chievo to help the Rossoneri win the
game 2-1 last night. Obviously, Borriello was too busy practising his model-like
poses upfront.

Dirty Tackle 21 October @ 02:11 PM EST
In the lead-up to today's Champions League match between Real Madrid and AC Milan, an Italian
show called Le Iene aired a never before seen interview with Kaka from his time with the
Rossoneri. Perhaps the rapid-fire format put him in the mood to not hold back, but on one
question in particular it would seem that he revealed a bit more than he may have wanted:
Question: "Which Milan player is exceptionally gifted down under?

Oguchi Onyewu's official AC Milan debut finally came on Wednesday, but the result of the match

What a difference a week makes.
Seven days ago it was the red and black side of Milan who were flush with optimism, stunned at a
reversal in fortunes that had seen their hopes shattered in pre-season and then steadily rebuilt in
Siena.
They had witnessed the first tentative steps of the apparent rebirth of Ronaldinho, they had
seen Alexandre Pato set himself up for what many to believe will be "his" season with two clinical
goals, and they had seemingly allayed any fears that the ageing and aching limbs of Andrea Pirlo,
Gennaro Gattuso, Alessandro Nesta, Gianluca Zambrotta and Marek Jankulovski were a bridge that not
even the confident and bullish Leonardo and the downright brash Silvio Berlusconi could cross.

MLS Rumors 20 July @ 11:40 AM EST
Chatting with a less than usually stoic Alessandro Nesta of AC Milan, he spoke about some of the

I'd say the boo to cheer ratio was 60:40 when David Beckham jogged out to warm-up.
The Riot Squad have unveiled some apt signs for the occasion including "Hey Becks! Here before
you, here after you, here despite you," "23 Repent" and "Go home fraud 23"
(Updated: It's about 13 minutes before kickoff; the signs are gone, no doubt removed by AEG.

Standard Liege ended after this season and was actively looking at offers from clubs in the top
European leagues.

Real Salt Lake defender Jamison Olave (MLSNet.com)
Jamison Olave, Fredy Montero, and Jhon Kennedy Hurtado are three players that have been able
to bloom early in the MLS season. This is great news for those proponents of the approach to
bring young Latin American players to the fray.

Up until about 2 years ago, if you had asked anyone who the best Italian defender was or even
who the top defender in the world was, many people would tell you it was Alessandro Nesta. Everyone
appreciated Nesta. He has always been a serious professional who had chosen always to step away
from the limelight and preferred to be a silent leader.

Hide the women and children, because Milan are on the prowl for centerbacks. With Paolo Maldini in
the midst of his swansong (or so we assume), Alessandro Nesta's knees aspiring to bone-on-bone and
Philippe Senderos being Philippe Senderos, Adriano Galliani is looking to scoop up any aged or
Brazilian centerbacks available.
