Croatia was simply beautiful (Plitvice Lakes!) and Slovakia had great food and alcohol but I'm
glad to be back in Poland to watch the Poland-Ukraine friendly. I wasn't able to follow the
national team news closely during my holidays (it's not really advisable to take a laptop to the
beach), but I read some info to prepare a preview for you.
Alcohol: the biggest entertainment and the biggest disease in the Polish society. Footballers
are not free of this disease; they've always been drinking and it seems that even with Smuda's
strong objection they continue to do so nowadays. The trick is not to get caught. Peszko and
Iwański were too drunk to remember that.
Fact: I was under the influence of alcohol in some of the very locations featured in this video
during All Star week in Houston this past year. Small, party-robot filled world.
