After starting the season with their customary 4-3-3 formation, Wigan have now lined up in a 3-4-3 system ever since their 3-3 draw with Blackburn on November 19th. Roberto Martinez trialled the system in a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa on October 1st, but then reverted back to his familiar 4-3-3 for their following game against Bolton.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish believes Craig Bellamy is being unfairly treated by referees.
The Welshman has a feisty reputation and his manager fears that may be working against the forward after four bookings in as many matches.
Dalglish has been disappointed by the yellow cards Bellamy has received in the recent games against Fulham and Wigan, and the Scot hopes a pattern is not developing.

Hello and I hope you're having a super Saturday. There's Arsenal today and there can't be anything bad about that. Well, not if we win the game anyway. Today sees us visiting the DW Stadium to face Wigan, a team mired in the relegation zone. After the sacking of Steve Bruce at Sunderland, it would be fair to say that Roberto Martinez will be slightly worried about his position.

Not the final everyone assumed 3 weeks ago, but it's the final nonetheless. Paraguay have reached the final game by not even winning a game. 5 draws, 2 shootouts, 5 goals scored, 5 goals against. They're hoping this one goes to penalties. Uruguay though are a talented team lead by the two pronged attack of Forlan and Suarez.

After Colombia and hosts Argentina exited on Saturday, Sunday's 2011 Copa America claimed the biggest scalp of all - Brazil. Much fancied Chile also lost, 2-1 to Venezuela, emerging like Peru as the surprise package of the tournament.

If you would've bet before the Copa America that neither Argentina or Brazil would make the final, you likely would have been called delusional.

That will be the case though, as Brazil lost 2-0 on penalty kicks to Paraguay in a quarterfinal match on Sunday.

Paraguay shocked Brazil in a penalty shootout to advance to the Copa America semifinals today. In 24 hours both Argentina and Brazil have been knocked out of the Copa America on penalties.

Amazingly, Paraguay is yet to win a game in the tournament, but it will face either Chile or Venezuela, for the right to reach the Copa America Final.

Brazil were fortunate to draw with Paraguay in the Group stage

Brazil take on Paraguay in the quarter-finals of the Copa America this afternoon in La Plata. With hosts Argentina out of the competition, Brazil are now the firm favourites but Paraguay will be a tricky opponent. In the Group stage, the pair drew 2-2; Fred coming off the bench to secure a late equalizer for Brazil.

Group B could be becoming the group of death in this year's Copa America after a third consecutive draw.
Jadson, the Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder, gave Brazil a first-half lead with a long-range effort but a shock was soon on the cards after the break as Roque Santa Cruz equalised for Paraguay and then Nelson Haedo Valdez gave La Albirroja the lead in the 66th minute.
