the more dubious corners of the intertubes had pushed them for weeks only for it to amount to
nothing, a new round of insanity was called for.

Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani has expressed excitement over his return to Liverpool after
negotiations with Juventus came to a halt.
Aquilani, who thrived in a loan spell with the Turin outfit last season, was poised to extend
his stay in the Serie A but Juve's budget did not allow them to meet the price in the pre-agreed
purchase clause, particularly after they unveiled four major signings in recent days.
Now that Alberto Aquilani has confirmed he is returning to Liverpool, Raul Meireles is possibly

think our midfield will look like next season?

Poll: Should LFC Keep Aquilani?
Alberto Aquilani divides opinion among Liverpool fans like no other, with some sections of the
Anfield faithful singing his praises and others urging him out of the door. But what do you think?
Lots of supporters will have witnessed Aquilani in action first hand during the club's pre-season
campaign, as well as keeping tabs on him while on loan at Juventus, and should therefore be able to
form a well-rounded opinion of the player.

After bringing in a bevvy of new faces over the summer, it seems that Kenny Dalglish is keen to
move on a few of his fringe players/dead wood before September rolls around, with five players
being mooted for export this morning.
We'll start with the most unlikely to go through, with the whisperings that Inter Milan are
sniffing around Dirk Kuyt again, though it's thought that Dutchman and his glorious mane of wet
spaghetti hair will snub any offer from Italy as he'd much prefer to stay at Anfield until they
chuck him out a wise choice.
Liverpool FC completed the signing of Charlie Adam from Blackpool late Thursday...
UPDATE: According to Neil Jones at the Daily Post, Juventus
have begun talks with Liverpool about signing Alberto Aquilani
permanently. However it is reported that the pre-agreed price of £14.4million may have to be
lowered.
March 23rd, 2011: According to The Independent, the agent of

Juventus will permanently sign his client.
Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole has been made aware he can leave the club in the summer and would
consider accepting a pay cut to end his Anfield nightmare.
Cole was acclaimed as a major signing when he joined Liverpool on a free transfer after leaving
Chelsea last summer.
But the 29-year-old has found himself out of the side for much of the season and has made just
eight Premier League starts, scoring two goals.

Video: Comolli & Aquilani Discuss Transfer
In this ‘extraordinary' video shot by a Liverpool fan at the Hilton hotel in Oslo, Damien
Comolli and Alberto Aquilani are apparently seen discussing the player's proposed exit from the
club. At times both parties even appear frustrated – particularly the player who is known to be
desperate for a move back to his native Italy.
AC Milan has been told to make Liverpool a £8.7 million bid for Alberto Aquilani by the player's
agent Franco Zavaglia.
The Italy international has been strongly tipped to return to his homeland after failing to make a
mark at Liverpool following a big-money move from Roma in 2009.
AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani recently claimed his club could be interested in the 27-year-old, who
was linked Fiorentina after a successful loan spell with Juventus last season.

Dragging a beautiful bubba to a ball game is rapidly becoming a national sport in Italy. This
week's fixture within a fixture is Carolina Marcialis (Antonio Cassano) vs. Michela Quattrociocche

call this a win for Michela and Aurora (r).
Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani's future at Anfield is less than certain, as the Italian flop
has not yet been offered a permanent deal by current club Juventus, but looks unlikely to remain at
Liverpool.
In 2009, Rafa Benitez signed the 26-year-old Italian midfielder for £17 million from Roma, but a
succession of injuries left the talented international on the fringes of the Liverpool side.
Liverpool's want-away midfielder Alberto Aquilani looks set to make his loan spell at Juventus
permanent, after the player's agent once again reiterated that the 26-year-old is desperate to end
his nightmare at Anfield by switching to Serie A giants Juventus.
While Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has stated that he would like to bring Aquilani back to
Anfield in the summer, the Italian midfielder has repeatedly insisted that he would prefer to stay
at Juventus.
Alberto Aquilani's fading hopes of securing a full-time move to Juventus are expected to be dashed
once and for all when Antonio Conte is officially unveiled as the Turin club's new coach.
Juventus turned to Conte to replace the sacked Luigi Del Neri shortly after agreeing a cut-price
£8million fee with Liverpool to turn Aquilani's season-long loan into a permanent transfer.
There is confusion over the future of Alberto Aquilani after his agent opened the door for a Milan
move.
Juventus netted the midfielder from Liverpool last summer in a loan deal with the option to buy him
outright for €16m.
However, that option expired on May 15 and it is unclear whether Juve will keep the Italian
international or not.
Alberto Aquilani's agent believes the Liverpool midfielder's future could be...
I'm greatly appreciative of those who found yesterday's post worthwhile despite the lack of
anything happening that anyone actually cares about as I mentioned, trying to find news and/or
inspiration on a daily basis during the summer months is absolutely maddening, especially when
you're trying to find news that isn't a rumor that makes you want to stab someone.
Liverpool is stuck with Alberto Aquilani for the time being after failing to agree terms with
Juventus.
The Italian flop has been a disaster at Anfield and was shipped out on loan to Juventus last season
in order to get his career back on track.
But Kenny Dalglish has no plans to keep him at Liverpool and is eager to sell him, despite the fact
he's likely to make a massive loss on the £20million shelled out for him by Rafael Benitez in
2009.

It's six weeks since the close of the 2010-11 season, and Liverpool's already set to kick off

short summer breaks following international commitments.
Fiorentina's Valon Behrami hopes Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani will join him at the Serie A
club.
Aquilani's future is uncertain after being linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, having
spent last season on loan at Juventus.
Juve were not interested in signing the Italy international permanently but their Italian rivals,
Fiorentina, are thought to be chasing his signature.
Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani will remain at Anfield, according to the player's agent.
Aquilani has regularly been linked with a move away from Liverpool this summer following an
impressive loan spell at Juventus last season.
Fiorentina have been mooted as potential suitors for the Italy international, who joined Liverpool
from Roma in 2009, but the 27-year-old's representative has claimed he will be plying his trade for
the Reds in the 2011-12 Premier League campaign.
Aquilani Close to Fiorentina Deal
Reports emerging from Italy suggest Liverpool midfiedler Alberto Aquilani is close to a loan
move to Fiorentina, with La Viola being given the option to purchase the player for £10m at the
end of the season. Speculation regarding Aquilani's future has been rife ever since he returned
from a loan spell at Juventus, where he was expected to move to on a permanent basis this
summer.

Chelsea could be set to launch a sensational bid for Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani as the

The Blues have had offers of £22m and £27m rejected by Tottenham for Modric and according to
