A lot of things have changed at Liverpool over the last year and a half, and despite the club
currently being embroiled in controversy over the Luis Suarez-Patrice Evra situation, Liverpool
legend Alan Kennedy is confident that things will continue to move in the right direction.Speaking
at the ex-players Christmas party this week, Kennedy highlighted the things that have changed for
the better
Former Liverpool defender Alan Kennedy insists that keeping Pepe Reina on Merseyside should be the
top priority for the club.
The Reds missed out on the Champions League last season and remain likely to face a similar
situation this time around as well.
And with the Spaniard having recently been coy about his future, Kennedy believes that the former
Villarreal shot-stopper is "irreplaceable".
A team of Liverpool legends slipped to a narrow 1-0 defeat against the Everton Legends at a
star-studded charity event at Goodison Park on Wednesday night.
Stuart Barlow's first-half goal was enough to give the Blues a victory, despite the Reds dominating
possession throughout.
However, with all proceeds raised going towards local charities Radio City's Cash For Kids and the
Teenage Cancer Trust, as well as the Everton Former Players Foundation, the result mattered little
as the two teams united for good causes.

A chance to play at Anfield
IT'S that time of year again: the Christmas tree is up or at least threatening to be, the snow
is falling or at least threatening to, and the streets are packed with frantic shoppers threatening
to do things to the next person to get in their way as they search frantically for the ideal
pressie for their loved ones, never quite sure if the loved one in question already has that
particular one anyway.
