Trailing against 10-man Bolton, Blackburn scored a late equalizer that looked to have sealed a result for the Rovers.

No one told Stuart Holden that.

Just seconds after Blackburn had pulled level at 1-1Â through a Mame Biram Diouf finish, Holden got on the end of a headed pass, controlling the ball with his chest before smacking home a game-winning left-footed volley in the 88th minute.

FIFA: Al-Wahda further local interest with victory over Hekari United

The FIFA Club World Cup began in Abu Dhabi today with host club Al-Wahda securing their berth in the quarter-finals of the competition following a 3-0 win over underdogs Hekari United.

The tournament is being held for the second year running in the United Arab Emirates. Following the disappointment of national representatives Al-Ahli in last year's competition, in which they lost 2-0 to Oceania champions Auckland City, Al-Wahda were determined not to suffer the ignominy of going out in the preliminary round and further local interest in this year's tournament.

I'm referring of course to the 2010 FIFA Club World Cup, which begins tomorrow in the United Arab Emirates (just a stone's throw from Qatar!) with the first round match between hosts Al-Wahda and OFC champions Hekari United from Papua New Guinea, who are the first ever Oceania champions not from Australia or New Zealand.
