Bournemouth to announce a second Chelsea signing a £20m defender!

It's being reported that Bournemouth are set to announce the £20m signing of Nathan Ake from Chelsea once the player returns from his holidays early next month.

I must stress that these are unconfirmed reports at this stage as we wait to hear anything with substantial credibility but then again I wouldn't be surprised as the player himself has to be frustrated figure walking away from Stamford Bridge last month having joined in the Premier League trophy celebrations.

According to various reports in the media Eddie Howe is preparing a £30m combined offer this summer for Asmir Begovic and Nathan Ake.

Two things here to start with. First of all it's remarkable really isn't it that we are even contemplating Bournemouth offering that amount of money to anyone!

He started in the absence of Gary Cahill in the FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham and now the season is over, what do you think will happen to Nathan Ake this summer?

It's a question that needs to be answered as with so many other players who have spent more than enough time out on loan in recent seasons.

Antonio Conte decided to take up the option to recall defender Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Bournemouth this past weekend. Do you think he will feature for Chelsea before the end of the season?
I have to be very honest and say that I was as surprised as anyone when the news broke that Ake was to leave Bournemouth and return to Chelsea early.

Chelsea currently have THIRTY-FOUR players out on loan this season. With no European football and a player exodus predicted, I want to know how many of those you would want to see in our first team next season?

You can find the complete list of those players on the Club Website here but I want to mention the ten names that I believe should be considered.

Chelsea's left back dilemma! - Luiz, Ferreira or Ake?

Rafa Benitez revealed a selection headache ahead of tomorrow tie in Russia against Rubin Kazan in the second leg of our Europa League Quarter Final. Ryan Bertrand has been suffering with a virus and it's touch and go whether or not he will be fit enough to play tomorrow.

With Ashley Cole out injured, it leaves us with a problem at left back and I am just wondering how you think Rafa should play this one?

NATHAN AKE: Outstanding debut but overshadowed.

What a full first team debut by Nathan Ake at Middlesborough last night. I feel guilty this morning because as you all know Rafa Benitez grabbed the headlines with his post match rant and hardly anyone focused on this brilliant performance by Ake. He was head and shoulders above the rest by a mile.
