Norwich City 0-3 Liverpool Premier League 28th April 2012
This season, Uruguyan hitman Luis Suarez has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
However, against a disappointing Norwich City side on Saturday, he produced a virtuoso performance
topped off with a superb long-range chip.

It was concerning to read that Liverpool were planning to offer Andy Carroll in a direct swap
deal with Carlos Tevez at the weekend.
At £35 million it is quite clear as far as the best bookmakers are concerned that the former
Newcastle forward has not lived up to what might have been expected of him at Anfield in the year
he has been with the club, but it is important to remember that he is still young.
The Society of Black Lawyers (SBL) has condemned both Liverpool and Chelsea for appearing to excuse
the alleged racism of Luis Suarez and John Terry.
Peter Herbert OBE and co-chair of the organization said, "To our knowledge, neither club has
bothered to conduct its own independent investigation or hold a disciplinary hearing.

ready for the knock-out stages is still peppered with some of Europe's big guns. Probably the
biggest in the competition, Manchester United, will face another all-time European great, Ajax, in
the last 32, a tie which has more than a hint of glamour.

Well, it's only a minor problem that happens when your eyes refuse to OPEN and you

Looks like we've got another long break ahead of us. The Next time the Timbers play will be next
Friday. Unfortunately, this also gives teams like the Philadelphia Union, D.C. United and, as we
saw last night, the New York Red Bulls a chance to pull ahead in the standings.
So what are the Timbers doing during this break?
Mourinho is said to be keen on Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, who has made an instant impact on
Merseyside. Kenny Dalglish will fight tooth and nail to keep the Uruguayan at Anfield but the
allure of a move to Real Madrid may be hard to fend off.
Indeed it seems that the Scot sees the former Ajax man as his first choice striker and whilst a
pairing of Andy Carroll is used for some Liverpool fixtures the season Dalglish has looked to play
Suarez up front on his own and taking advantage of the goals he can now hope to see coming from his
new midfield signings such as Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson.

Defensive issues have been blamed by many as one of the key factors that let down Arsenal's
trophy challenge last season, but the Gunners' boss, Arsene Wenger, has a rather different opinion
on that matter.
Speaking to the press during the London club's Asian tour, Wenger believed that in terms of
individual quality, his defensive players are very capable especially if defending from open
play.

Suarez picked up the man of the match award and netted his fourth goal for the Reds in the 5-2
victory and his tireless movement was commonly at the heart of much of Liverpool's good work.
