CAPE TOWN, South Africa -- The third and final match of the Generation adidas tour is set for
Sunday morning, and will provide a fitting end to the 2009 trip to South Africa. The collection of
young MLS players face Ajax Cape Town reserves, a game they all want to win and close out the tour
on a high note.
The rescheduled MTN Wafa Wafa Super 8 Final will take place this weekend at the Orlando Stadium
in Soweto between Ajax Cape Town and Lamontville Golden Arrows.
The final had to be rescheduled to 24 October 2009 after the announcement of the South African
squad for the FIFA Under-20 World Cup -due to the fact that the Amajita squad contained five Ajax
Cape Town players
Urban Warriors Take on Abafana Bes'thende
Now the Urban Warriors and their youngsters, (who reached the final sixteen in Egypt wit the
South African U20 team) are ready to take on Abafana Bes'thende right in the heart of Soweto.
Chris Pontius and Rodney Wallace helped the Generation adidas squad to a win in its final game
in South Africa, playing 62 and 65 minutes, respectively, as the MLS side earned a 2-0 win over
Ajax Cape Town's reserve squad.
Generation adidas ends their time in South Africa with a 2-1 record.
Ertugral top choice to coach Ajax

JOHANNESBURG - In soccer's worst kept secret, Ajax Cape Town and coach Craig Rosslee officially
parted ways this week.
But speculation was already rife about Rosslee's future with sources saying that he had already
handed in his resignation to the club two weeks ago, a few days before the team's final Premiership
encounters against Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
This was a high scoring weekend of excitement and upsets at the ABSA Premiership around South
Africa seven goals were scored on Sunday.

Kaizer Chiefs showed their class once again at Newlands Stadium on Sunday afternoon when they
beat Ajax Cape Town 3-0.
Ajax Cape Town have announced the appointment of Foppe de Haan as their new head coach following
the departure of Muhsin Ertugral for Turkish Super League side Sivasspor.
The Right Man for the Urban Warriors
Urban Warriors CEO George Comitis revealed in a statement on Thursday afternoon: "After a long
deliberation and thorough analysis of all the applications that we have received, we believe that
we have found the right man to steer us forward.
The Kansas City Wizards 2 Generation Adidas players will be making their way over to South Africa
with the rest of an MLS Generation Adidas team. Roger Espinoza and Chance Myers were both named to
the team that will leave later this month for a 10 day tour of the World Cup hosting country.
Espinoza and Myers will be competing in 3 games against Premier Soccer League reserve teams,
including Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates.
The MLS Generation Adidas team in South Africa played their second game of their trip today against
Santos Football Club. Unfortunately this result didn't go the way of the first one against the
Pirates. The GA team lost 2-1 to Santos. Chicago Fire forward, Patrick Nyarko once again scored for
the GA team in the loss.
The Generation adidas team, featuring Wizards players Chance Myers and Roger Espinoza, has
concluded their three-game tour of South Africa.
The team performed well on the tour, going 2-1 in three matches against reserve sides from the
Premier Soccer League (South Africa's first division).

Espinoza scored the team's second goal in yesterday's tour finale, a 2-0 win over Ajax Cape Town.
This is the first in a series of posts looking at the progress of the construction for the
three new stadiums being built in South Africa for the 2010 World Cup.
Green Point Stadium, Cape Town
The stadium under construction is located in Green Point, between Signal Hill and the Atlantic
Ocean and close to Cape Town's city centre.

squad in place of the injured Steven Pienaar for their two friendlies against Iceland and

Madagascar last month due to a foot injury.

Turkish-born coach is leaving for Sivasspor, which finished second behind Besiktas in the Turkish
League last year.
