being Michel Platini). Driven by Ajax Amsterdam's revolutionary "total football" where any player
could take over the role of another one, Dutch football swarmed over Europe during a great part of
the seventies.
Perennial Dutch Eredivisie contender AFC Ajax Amsterdam has officially launched its adidas 2010/11
away kit. According to the club's website, the 2010/11 Ajax away strip features the colours blue
and "electricity." It will first be used for the first time during Ajax's away KNVB Cup final game
against Feyenoord on Thursday, May 6.
According to the Belgian press we are interested in buying the Dutch player Sherjill MacDonald.
The 25 year old striker is playing for Belgian club Germinal Beerschot and scored 4 times in 29

Cruyff said he was impressed by the manner of Spain's 1-0 semifinal win over Germany on

Ajax Amsterdam manager Martin Jol looks set to snub Fulham after confirming
this morning that he has agreed to stay on at the Dutch giants 'in principle', despite holding
talks with the Cottagers yesterday.
Jol told Amsterdam-based newspaper De Telegraaf;
"[Fulham] were interested but in principle I will stay at Ajax.
There is no doubt that pre-season friendlies, particularly those played overseas, provide fans
with an exciting opportunity to see just how prepared their favorite players are for the coming
season. However, some pundits always insist that a lack of motivation often makes players
complacent, thus sending out decieving messages about their level of preparation.
