Veteran keeper has a 'mare Other than a brief and unsuccessful flirtation with Ajax, goalkeeper
Sander Boschker has played for FC Twente for more than 21 years and clocked up over 500

his service they handed him a Champions League [.
Liverpool will let Glen Johnson join Juventus, but only if the Italians include striker Amauri in
any potential deal.
According to the Daily Mail, the Merseysiders have reluctantly accepted Johnson wants out of
Anfield and Juventus are ready to pounce for the England defender.
However, Liverpool will reportedly attempt to get as much out of the deal as possible by demanding
Juve offer Italy forward Amauri plus cash if they are to sign Johnson.

Liverpool have made a €15m (£12.5m) bid for Ajax striker Luis Suarez, but the Dutch side are
holding out for closer to €25m (£20.9m), according to media reports.
Italian publication Tuttomercato comments that the Reds want to pair the Uruguayan with Fernando
Torres at Anfield, and have made initial enquires to bring Suarez to the club in the January
transfer window.

minifestejo íntimo en derredor de la copa
mientras el primer epicentro se armaba en la (tradicional) esquina de 7 y 50. Después, mientras

gente esperó a los jugadores casi 5 horas.

Earlier today, Newcastle United parted company with their manager Chris Hughton to begin the
merry-go-round of speculation about who will be the new boss of the Tyneside club. It brings to an
end the most stable period in Geordieland since Bobby Robson left the club so many years ago.
Newcastle United today announced the appointment of former West Ham, Charlton and Southampton
manager Alan Pardew.
A quick glance at the Wimbledon-born gaffer's history shows nothing of particular credit or
legacy worthy. Although he guided West Ham to the FA Cup Final where they lost to Liverpool, he did
win the Saint Johnstone Paint trophy whilst in his tenure with Southampton.
This is arguably the most important subject broached in the soccer blogosphere. Arguably, or
definitely? Definitely.
Reading up on Ajax's manager-less win against Milan on Wednesday, the game recap touched on how
dapper Frank de Boer looked in his interim role for the Amsterdam giants, a subject of obvious
priority.
The record books show that Viv Anderson was the last big name player to be transferred from Arsenal
to Manchester United in 1987 but two earlier signings proved to be just as significant. Few
players...

What a week: What a breath of fresh air the win over Milan was, sure it may not have been
against the strongest Milan XI or a XI that was really pumped up for the game as qualification to
the next stage of the Champions League had been secured in the previous game-week, but that didn't
matter, what mattered was how the Ajax XI reacted to their new coach.
Sam Allardyce has been sacked by the new owners of Blackburn, and the respected manager has
already revealed his surprise at the decision. Big Sam had been at Ewood Park since 2008, and his
managerial duties will temporarily be placed in the hands of first team coach Steve Kean.
Blackburn Rovers' official website said: "The Venky's Group, owners of Blackburn Rovers Football
Club, has today confirmed the departure of manager Sam Allardyce and assistant manager Neil
McDonald with immediate effect.
Johan Cruyff had another meeting with Rik van den Boog re: Ajax futture in Amsterdam. Club icons
Marco van Basten and Piet Keizer were present at that meeting. JC had also invited Rijkaard to come
along, but the former Barca coach couldn't make it.
Chairman Coronel wasn't present for this meeting.
"Mourinho
vete al teatro".
Here are the two Red cards given to Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos...so obviously planned
that I hurts...
Furthermore, If you look at the video below it appears that Mourinho has sent instructions to
his players to push for a second booking. This booking will mean that the players will miss the
final group match (no biggie as they go through anyway) and in doing so they clean the slate for
the next round of the competition.
After having the worst defeat in his career, now UEFA made it up for Mourinho. Remember the story
of the two faked red cards for both Ramos and Alonso vs. Ajax?? Now, UEFA concluded that...

Persib Bandung have finally ended weeks of conjecture by appointing Daniel Roekito as their new
coach. Roekito replaces Jovo Cuckovic who only started the job on the eve of the seaspn, replacing
Darko Janacovic before a ball had been kicked in anger.
Persib find themselves in unfamiliar territory, siting bottom of the 18 team Indonesia Super
League with just a solitary win to show for all their efforts.
Lately, soccer has become a game of cleverness and deceit. It's all about who can get away with a
dive and how a team can avoid the dreaded disciplinary record. Real Madrid's own Mourinho got
caught using the oldest trick in the book in last weeks CL match versus Ajax. In order to avoid two

The Eredivisie is one of the great leagues, a "selling" league over the years, but a good
league. The term selling in football is often closely followed by club or even league in this
instance and means that the club rather sells to make money rather than sell and buy another
player. The highest league in Holland contains major sides such as Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and
Feyenoord.

Danny Blind.........wasn't he that Dutch bloke with the dodgy perm who brought down Paul Ince
for the penalty at Euro 96?
It seems the current AFC Ajax Director of football is remembered more for his resemblance of a
Harry Enfield sketch than his playing career.
A complete travesty if you ask me.
Blatter asked all the people who liked and trusted him to come to the stage
So it's probably safe to say Feyenoord and Ajax are a bit "under the weather".
Ajax doesn't know how sick it is, really, while Feyenoord is getting healthier by the day but is
actually just weakened.

Newcastle United have sensationally sacked manager Chris Hughton with immediate effect.
Goalkeeping Coach Paul Barron also leaves the club. A statement from the official club website
reads as follows:
Newcastle United Football Club have today parted company with manager Chris Hughton.
Martin Jol has just resigned as manager of Ajax tonight, and that has obviously linked him with the
vacant manager position at Newcastle. Martin Jol - big admirer of Chris Hughton But of course Chris
Hughton was the Assistant manager to Martin Jol when he was at Tottenham a few years back, before
they were [.

average.

Just before close of play last night, Ajax issued a statement confirming that they and coach
Martin Jol had parted company 'by mutual consent'.
Jol (who only joined the club last May) then issuing the following personal statement via
ajax.
Given yesterday's developments, it would be ridiculously easy to 'play to the gallery' and paint
Newcastle owner Mike Ashley as some kind of slavering, cack-handed, tactless,
abhorrent, manipulative, back-stabbing, flesh-pressing barrel of an ingrate but we'll leave that
for another time.
Here's our feature video of the day: Chris Hughton being fired from Newcastle has stirred up
some controversy. Will former Ajax manager Martin Jol be the replacement?

We may have been just a little blase when talking about Martin Jol earlier today, because Martin

Word emanating from Fleet Street this morning is that Martin Jol has rescinded
his interest in the vacant managerial post at Newcastle after being offered a results-based
incremental contract by owner Mike Ashley and told that he won't have so much as a
shilling to spend for the foreseeable future.
