After each match the contributors to New England Soccer Today will rate the performances of
the New England Revolution players who made an appearance on a 1 to 10 scale (1 horrendous, 5
average, 10 perfection). This week Sean Donahue and Brian O'Connell contributed ratings for the
New England Revolution's 1-1 draw with the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday.
AJ Soares was on every MLS team's radar at the 2011 SuperDraft. He certainly appeared to
fill an immediate need for the Union, as a versatile defender who can play on the outside or down
the center. The Cal product has had a confident start to his MLS career and was tested on Wednesday
against English Premier League champions Manchester United.

The Union has a couple of posts on their website about the Bimbo shirt sponsorship deal. Of
particular interest is this quote from Nick Sakiewicz. "In about a week, fans will begin to see the
impact of this partnership because we're going to be announcing some significant player
signings.
There's not been a whole lot of real interesting news lately involving KC and with that news
there's a few questions that have been in my mind, so here's some random questions.
Is KC going to sign Luke Sassano?
The Wizards traded for his rights from LA, but there's been next to no word about what's going on
with him.
