As we saw with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a footballer's actual travel to join their new club isn't
terribly glamorous. But for Pavel Pogrebnyak, it was downright crappy.
Having been sold to VfB Stuttgart by Zenit St Petersburg, the Russian international had to make
the trip today in order to appear at his presentation to the German media and fans.
Well, it is still an unconfirmed rumor at this point, but supposedly Rosicky aggravated his
hamstring injury and will be out up to 6 weeks. I will update this post when this rumor is either
dispelled or confirmed.
But if it's true, it's really troubling, because it signals that Rosicky's injury is going to be
a recurring injury, and that we're probably not going to be able to rely upon him as a regular for
this season.
