South America is a million miles away from contemporary, cosmopolitan western Europe. Distances are

Well, it is still an unconfirmed rumor at this point, but supposedly Rosicky aggravated his
hamstring injury and will be out up to 6 weeks. I will update this post when this rumor is either
dispelled or confirmed.
But if it's true, it's really troubling, because it signals that Rosicky's injury is going to be
a recurring injury, and that we're probably not going to be able to rely upon him as a regular for
this season.

terribly glamorous. But for Pavel Pogrebnyak, it was downright crappy.
Having been sold to VfB Stuttgart by Zenit St Petersburg, the Russian international had to make
the trip today in order to appear at his presentation to the German media and fans.

New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today met with Delta Airlines CEO Richard Anderson to
discuss protecting the 7,500 New York jobs Delta provides and ensuring air travel access across New
York State, especially during difficult economic times.
"My number one priority is to protect and create good-paying jobs in New York," Senator

bit of a scare as their flight out of LA had to make an emergency landing. What's the old
cliché about a hard won 3-points on the road?
