A smoke grenade went off in Chelsea's Cobham training complex earlier this month, forcing
reserve, youth, and academy team players to be evacuated from the dressing rooms. An internal
investigation was launched by the club and now, the Daily Mail reports that two reserve team
players have admitted to being behind it.

well, let's not go there.
But sometimes, just sometimes, player behaviour belies a braininess that startles. There was
Clark Carlisle and his awesome 'Countdown' run.
After a few weeks off due to international breaks and facing sides nobody really cares
about—or ones we simply find too distasteful to bother talking to—Tea and Crumpets decided it
was about time to shake off the rust, so we headed out for a bite and a chat with Graham MacAree of
We Ain't Got No History, one of the more approachable Chelsea sorts out there and also our
boss.
What with Ashley Cole's air rifle and Joey Barton's many moments of questionable conduct – the
most recent being his claim to be England's best midfielder – this has been another season of woe
for the reputation of Premier League footballers. But as the campaign edges to its close they can
all breath a sign of relief, for it transpires that there is a player in Holland who tops the lot
when it comes to accusations of bad behaviour.
This time 12 months ago the nation was wearily, queasily familiar with the exact nature of the
personal relationships within the Chelsea dressing room, so presumably Fernando Torres knows what
he is saying when he claims the camaraderie and professionalism of his new employers compares
favourably with the "chaos" he left behind at Liverpool.
The Mirror got jokes.
Ashley Cole shot my mum last week. The drama has since been immortalized in digital form, first
by Taiwanese television and now by some crafty fucks with degrees in software engineering.
No disrespect, of course. This is good, real good.
