Wycombe snatched a draw today against League Two leaders Shrewsbury having lead until the 76th
minute through a fabulous 35 yard strike from Adam Sandell in the 63rd minute before Shrewsbury hit
back with two goals of their own in the 76th minute through Tom Bradshaw and the 86th minute
through Shrewsbury substitute Lionel Ainsworth, which looked to have given the Shrews all three
points, but Wycombe snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat when Lewis Montrose scored in injury
time giving Wycombe their 6th draw in 8 games in League Two.

After a dreadful campaign last season the hatters will play their first home league game after
coming out of administration. Both teams were relegated last season after a shocking
campaign, however Wycombe arethe favourites to bounce straight back up to N Power League 1.
Stockport come into this game after a positive start to the league with a well earned point away
at southend.

Wycombe Wanderers are looking more and more like Promotion Candidates
after securing their second win inside a week and their first away win of the season against a much
fancied Stevenage out-fit 2-0.
Wycombe boss Gary Waddock named an un-changed team to that, that Beat Barnet in mid-week and
they again repaid their managers faith in them recording a comfortable 2-0 victory over Stevenage,
which leaves the Chairboys 7 points behind leaders Port Vale in seventh position.
Wycombe had skipper Gareth Ainsworth to thank for this FA Cup victory after the
midfielder poked home a 94th minute winner for the Chairboys.
Non-League Hayes and Yeading had put up a spirited display with the League Two side and deserved
a replay but as we all no Sport is sometimes never fair.
