Sepp Blatter wants to make football more exciting. As part of his ongoing mission to ruin our
favourite sport, he is working with a task force consisting of football administrators, current and
ex-players and medical experts with the aim of introducing changes for the 2014 World Cup in
Brazil.
The Singapore media, led by the football loathing, draught excluding, tree destroying Straits
Times, continues to take aim at certain players in the national team.
Following on from the story that five cards were caught playing cards after lights out, only
Singapore could make a story out of this nonsense, comes news in the ST, and therefore unlinkable

As per Frank Lampard's honest assessment of Chelsea's form of late leading up to the FA Cup victory
last weekend, it comes as no surprise that John Terry has also spoken out once again.
Terry, along with Lampard have spoken of our form as unacceptable. There is no question every
single one of us can agree.
Not just poor sides, but even the likes of Manchester United. You deploy a flat back four,
with 3 central defensive midfielders sitting in front of the defence, blocking, chopping and

them with long balls once you break up the Arsenal play.
By Jason Davis - WASHINGTON, DC (Jan 14, 2011) US Soccer Players -- We could almost hear the wheels
turning in the minds of Galaxy owners Anschutz Entertainment Group and head coach Bruce Arena
following their decisive loss to FC Dallas in the Western Conference Final this November. Having
failed to live up to lofty expectations heightened by a Supporters' Shield in the regular season,
the brain trust in LA took aim at 2011 almost.
Kenny Dalglish is hoping today's Merseyside derby is the first step on the road to glory for young
Liverpool fans.
The Reds boss, who returned to the Anfield hot seat last weekend, previously played and managed
Liverpool during the all-conquering era that older supporters love to reminisce about.
Aston Villa have pulled £18million out of a magic hat to put a bid in for Sunderland's Darren
Bent. He's scored 36 goals in 63 appearances since his £10million move from Spurs but has now
handed in a transfer request.
This raises several questions for football fans today. Where have Villa got this money from?
Newcastle United legend Faustino Asprilla thinks Newcastle should be aiming for Europe this season.
Tino seems a bit more ambitious than Alan Pardew's 'eventual top 10′ aims and wants us to aim for
Europe this season. Asprilla, who was at the derby game on Sunday, had this to say: "I know that
Newcastle's main aim [.
Carlo has spoken about our recent poor form and especially our away form heading into the game at
Bolton tonight. Without a win away in the Premier League since October, Carlo was asked about our
philosophy and whether or not a change of style would be on the cards. He said:

And to think Kris Commons could have been making his Rangers debut today. Or not, depending on who
you believe.
Whether Rangers were seriously in contention for Commons or not is neither here nor there. For now
Walter Smith makes do with what he's got.
The aim will be to dispatch Motherwell with much the same insouciance as Celtic managed against
Aberdeen yesterday.
