After the news that Kevin de Bruyne is set to sign for Chelsea before the transfer window closes
and then immediately loaned back to Genk for the remainder of the season, today is about some
Brazilian targets.
First up and as reported the other day, there is Willian the 23 year old Shakhtar Donetsk
midfielder.
Liverpool duo Andy Carroll and Jose Enrique believe they need to improve their home form if they
are to have any chance of finishing in the top four.
The Reds were held to their seventh draw in 11 games at Anfield this season as Stoke ground out a
goalless draw at the weekend.
Kenny Dalglish's men have struggled for goals this season, having netted only 24 goals in 21
Premier League games and Carroll, who started the draw with Stoke on the bench, believes they need
to start taking their chances if they are to turn draws into victories.

What are the odds Spurs finish the season as London's top team? Derek McGovern's Bets of
the Day
Spurs have been touted as serious title contenders, but only by those who go to bed wearing
Tottenham pyjamas wrapped in a Tottenham duvet. You get the impression Harry Redknapp's aim this
season is to finish in the top four and then leave to pursue the England job he looks nailed-on
for.
Are YOU our Fan of the Month?
There's no other team in world football with a stronger bond with their supporters than

There are a number of people whose behavior in football probably shouldn't serve as a role model
to children. One of them is Jose Mourinho, since he's often busy behaving like a child. (You know
getting piggybacks and poking people in the eye.)
And yet here he is, getting his own cartoon to nurture our future, the children.

Liverpool Football Club has given its backing to World Aids Day.
World Aids Day has been held on December 1 since 1988 with the aim of fighting prejudice and
educating people about the disease.
Mark Haig, LFC's manager for Action for Health, said: "Liverpool Football Club is supporting this
international health campaign because we're aware of the devastating impact that HIV has caused
many people globally.
Dalgish treats his players like family but even Carra and Stevie G know there's only one

A manager's loyalty to his players is pretty much taken for granted. Kenny Dalglish takes it to
extremes. Had he been boss when Craig Bellamy took aim at John Arne Riise with a seven-iron,
Kenny would probably have given the Welshman a few swing tips.

Feliz Sabado! It's our weekend wrap-up again, and first on the menu is
Cristiano's enthusiasm for playing dress-up... típicas!
Earlier this week, your favourite Portuguese hunk (don't try to deny this, grandmas!)
launched his special CR7 collection, which features a series of his favourite
white sneakers, the Nike5 Street Gato ("cat" in Spanish),
specially-designed T-shirts in red, white and blue, a CR7 matchball and even shin-guards!
The new Arsenal: focus, enthusiasm, togetherness, and a
mixture of raw talent and calm experience
The interlull is almost over. Although it has been a boring period from a footballing point of
view at least we did not have to endure again the spectacle of recent interlulls: in-fighting of
fellow Arsenal fans.
It was a disappointing night for Liverpool's youngsters in Portugal as they lost 5-1 to Sporting
Lisbon in the NextGen Series.
With qualification for the next stage of the competition already ensured, Rodolfo Borrell's side
set out with the aim of trying to be the first team to beat the Portugese outfit in the competition
so far.
Nicky Butt has today revealed that he has started taking his coaching badges to fulfil his
ambition of becoming a manager.
"I've started my badges now and am getting the hours in," Butt said. "I'll get
assessed in the next five or six months. I go to Carrington a lot and just watch, I don't really
take any of the sessions.
News reports are dominated by one story today and that concerns Tottenham's intention to de-list
from the Stock Exchange after posting record annual profits.
The Statement on the club website from Daniel Levy reads,
"It is clear to us that increasing the capacity of the club's stadium is a key factor in the
continued development and success of the club and will involve the company in considerable
additional capital expenditure," a club statement read.
Middlesbrough star Rhys Williams insists that he has no intention of leaving the club in
January.
Williams stated earlier this week that he was not ready to sign a new deal at Boro - unless they
improved their offer.
This led to renewed speculation about his future with Bolton and Liverpool linked again, with Aston
Villa also previously linked.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is an eager on-looker as England prepare for a pair of
friendlies against Sweden and more importantly, reigning European and world champions Spain in the
week ahead.
While Gerrard is focused on regaining a consistently high level of fitness for his club, he
understands that winning back his regular starting position will be a massive challenge given the
quality of talent available for selection.
If you're team is bottom you aren't usually happy - and few neutrals would ever tune into watch the
bottom teams in England, Scotland, Spain or Germany.
In Australia it's different - the Melbourne Heart and Adelaide United Dutch Coached teams are
bottom of the A-League but both play good football, or aim to.
Manchester United is building its own branded global social network and media outlet, with the aim
of targeting its international base of an estimated 350m supporters.
Corluka's new squeeze, 27 year old Croatian model Vedrana Linardić. Apparently Vedrana loves the
way Vedran can talk for ages about anything. Vedrana also admits to wanting to be internationally

help Vedrana achieve this aim.
Why is John Terry such a trouble magnet?
Why is it always John Terry? There is no escaping the fact it always seems to be Terry caught in
the eye of the storm. He always seems to be the common denominator in the stories. He tries to come
across as more sinned against than sinning, but the Chelsea captain seems to have been involved in
more than his fair share of problems.
Whoever Spurs aim to buy in January it won't be Giuseppe Rossi after the Italian was ruled out
for the next six months with a cruciate injury that he sustained in Villarreal's 3-0 to Real Madrid
in the week.
Harry Redknapp has admitted interest on several occasions in the past but this setback has ruled
out any potential move for the striker this winter.
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of

Since its humble beginnings in Melbourne Australia, Movember has grown to become a truly global

It's been a tough week to be a Wolves fan.
The revulsion towards the behaviour of a significant section of Wolves supporters has been
widespread – and the criticism has been coming from all angles.
The Guardian's Barry Glendenning tweeted that the fans were "clowns", ESPN's Daniel Pountney
suggested they "grow up" and the WSC message boards were alive with the hot topic: "Are Wolves fans
fickle?
Since yesterday all current Newcastle United season ticket holders were able to purchase further
season tickets at a special half-price rate according to the club's website. The move comes after a
fantastic start to the season for the Magpies on the pitch, but a slightly disappointing average
attendance at home games.
If Danny Rose takes to the pitch against Rubin Kazan tonight, it will be a welcome sight for
Spurs fans to see one of our brightest stars return from a troublesome long term injury.
Rose was converted to an emergency left back last season and impressed in the role to give some
much needed competition and back up for BAE's slot and this position is now a long term target for
the player.

For years the perception of most football fans and the media was that if you stopped Steven Gerrard
and Fernando Torres, you stopped Liverpool. Since taking over, Kenny Dalglish's aim has clearly
been to build a squad with many players capable of driving the team in attack, rather than just
relying on one or two players.
Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck says that he has been brought up with a winning mentality
at Old Trafford and that the club want to beat every team that they come up against.
The 20-year-old had been in fine form for United this season up until a hamstring injury picked up
