Another new picture of Man United's new home football kit for the 2009-10 season has been
leaked.
While there's been a lot of debate regarding recent pictures of the shirt and whether they're
legitimate or not, this one appears to be the real deal.
It's a promotional image from Nike that features the new Manchester United home football
kit.
As I speculated here, about United's possible new kit and sponsors, upon my internet travels I
have found a leaked version of what is probably United's new away kit for next season. Wanna see
what it looks like? Wanna hear where it originates from? After the jump, bitch...
First of all, don't start thinking's it's some crappy Photoshop job because of the quality of
the photo.
With AIG's latest announcement, the footballing world finally got a glimpse of the current world
economic crisis. Up until this point there have been few reminders about the reality of our
non-footballing lives, but David Gill and the rest of the Manchester United executives have been
handed the tough task of finding a company that will part with millions of pounds each year.
Rooney kicks Tevez out of the starting lineup, and out of Manchester
Fan favorite Carlos Tevez said today that he will not play for Manchester United next season and
has accused the club of showing him a lack of respect.
Like many others, I have followed Tevez since World Cup 2006 - when he burst onto the international
scene and displayed a fearless, always moving, if not always graceful, battling style.
Cinderella stories happen everyday, everywhere in this world. In particular, when it comes to
the world of football, we have seen quite a few of them. After all, who would have thought that
Senegal would knock France out of the World Cup in 2002? Or who would have picked Greece to win it
all in the European Cup of 2004?
Manchester United's sponsors AIG have confirmed that they will not renew their contract with Man
United when it runs out in May 2010. This summer Man United will bring out a new home kit which

Manutd.com will unveil the new kit on July 1st, but we already have it here.
As you could see from the Rio and Rooney pictures, AIG is still the front shirt sponsor. You
could also see the black V across the chest
The players will don the kit for the first time during their pre-season tour of Asia next
month.
You might not know it as you zip up your coat to brave the rain and the wind, but
summer is here in England. And that means one thing. Cricket. The Ashes are in full
(reverse) swing at the moment, and the feelgood factor is pretty high following England's triumph
at Lords.
I have to admit it, I like cricket, I enjoy playing it and watching it.
Some Manchester United news for those of you who are a) United fans b) fantasy footie managers with
United ownership or c) former Wall Street employees without jobs due to the economic meltdown.
- The American insurance firm AIG has decided to end its sponsorship deal with Manchester

As reported in most dailies around, United have finally got a shirt sponsor on board to replace
AIG. What's with the club's recent obsession with insurance companies, really? I guess the answer
is £s;80m
Anyway, the facts...
Aon Corporation, founded in 1919 is a firm that specializes in insurance and risk management;
which sounds to me like saving the insurance companies when they do something potty.
A timekeeping shirt sponsor for Man Yoo? The news that skint American bankers AIG will not be
renewing their sponsorship deal with Manchester United could pave the way for a Swiss watch
manufacturer to take their place. Back in October, we told you that Hublot had agreed a sponsorship

Fabio Capello may have led England to one of its best starts in a World Cup qualification campaign.
However, as the Three Lions' last outing against European Champions Spain suggests, there is still
a lot of learning to do for Mr. Capello before he gets his starting eleven completely right. At
least I feel this way.
So, lets get straight to it. It's the question on everybody's lips. Did Sir Alex Ferguson
disrespect the FA Cup by fielding the cast of Skins? There were rumblings as soon as I entered the
stadium. Some people had seen it on TV in one of the many bars, some had been phoned by friends,
some were just wildly speculating.
With the Premier League over for another season. Here are some of the things I noticed from the
08/09 campaign:
Like a bat out of Hull
Hull City were everyone's favorite to go straight back down this season. They seemed like a
sweet little feel good story, content to have their moment in the big leagues before quickly
sinking back to lower level obscurity where they could be patronized by football and non-football
people alike for sounding like a thoroughly dull and uninspiring place to live.
There have been many occasions in recent years where the genius of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger
has been brought into question. After all, the trophy cabinet has been empty for four years and
everyone, from skipper Cesc Fabregas to that little child in the upper tier at the
Emirates, is becoming increasingly restless with the club's underachievements.
Though United's first half of the season littered with poor performances and ugly football, the
second half of their season thus far has been plagued with injuries. Even with these injuries, some
up and coming stars have been filling in the gaps, and United have propelled to the top of the
table. Today Sir Alex Ferguson's side took their game to the next level, as they broke yet another
Premier League record.
Barack wants United veteran#8217;s bonus back With all the controversy over the huge bonuses paid
to employees of bailed-out US financial group AIG, we couldn#8217;t help but notice that an ageing
employee by the name of Ryan Giggs picked up a bonus from AIG at around the time in question.
AIG#8217;s shirt sponsorship of Manchester United has [.
I am not quite sure how much of an audience an article about the German Bundesliga can get, but
I will still give it a shot. After all, if there is one league that has continued to offer an
air-tight title race throughout the year, it has to be the German first division. With two games to
go, as many as four teams have a realistic chance of being crowned champions.
There is no denying that Liverpool F.C. is the form team in the
Barclays Premier League at the moment. Rafa's Reds have defied
all odds to overcome a frustrating start to the campaign and surprisingly, the Steven
Gerrard - Fernando Torres pairing isn't exclusively responsible for leading the
revival.
With the Ballon d'Or nominations finally releasing this weekend, the headlines have mostly been
devoted to the fact that world champions Italy have no representation whatsoever. But why blame the
press for paying excessive attention to an irrelevant detail? After all, the award itself is
destined to be heading Lionel Messi's way, which means very little is there to be talked about in
terms of debating the winner, right?
Shouldn't United's shirt really say "US Tax Payers" not "AIG" AIG are 18 months
from the end of a £14 million-a-year contract with the Premier League champions, and their
exit comes as little surprise. The company has encountered financial trouble and last year received

Ten things I noticed from this week's Champions League semifinals:
1. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth
Results lie. Sometimes. If not, then in the last 5 years I've been privileged enough to watch
the great Greek team of 2004 justly claim their prize as the greatest international team in
Europe.
A very impressive Stoke City side continued to march up the table by handing Hull City a shock
2-1 defeat at the KC Stadium this afternoon. In all fairness, Phil Brown's Tigers were completely
outplayed and had it not been for defender Andy Dawson's last minute consolation, the final score
would have been a little too embarrassing for the hosts.
Manchester United took another step towards the title against Manchester City on Sunday, and
Chelsea squared off against a wounded Arsenal side at the Emirates. Here are the winners and losers
from today's action
Winners Carlos Tevez
Manchester United fans woke up this morning to the news that Carlos Tevez is bidding farewell to
United, to Manchester, and to England.
Tuesday May 26th
11am – After failing in my quest to get a good night's rest the night before, I spent the
morning zombified thanks mainly to the hypnotic waffling of Paddy Crerand on MUTV. After a wash and
an egg (though maybe not in that order) I got in the cab and headed for Heathrow Terminal 5.
I haven't really written that much about Manchester United's new shirt sponsorship with Aon. I
thought it was about time that I did. Man United's current shirt sponsors AIG have been in

This week has been nothing but rumor after rumor... and none of them were particularly happy for
the Red Devils. "Reports" linking Vidic, Scholes, Slave, and Tevez away from Old Trafford were all
over the place. Compounding the issue was/is the fact that there doesn't appear to be a whole lot
of activity in the United front office as yet.
Barcelona winning everything last season could have deeper repercussions for the Premier League
beyond felling Manchester United in the Champions League. They've awoken the sleeping spending
giant that is Real Madrid. Desperate to overtake the unstoppable Barça, Real Madrid have
obliterated all transfer records and don't look anywhere near stopping.
With the commencement of the UEFA Champions League group stages this midweek,
an important piece of news was relegated to the back of most reporting outlets. Perhaps another
reason behind the lack of coverage for the story in question was the refusal, on part of most
football lovers, to recollect any part of the uninspiring internationals
break.
The first defeat of the season is always the most tricky one to deal with. Perhaps that explains
why some feel that the earlier it comes, the better. At the beginning of the 2007-08
season, a determined young Arsenal squad made a typically flying start to
the campaign.
The title to this article might suggest that I am providing some late coverage on Arsenal
striker Nicklas Bendtner's recent car accident while driving to practice in his Aston Martin. In
reality, though, this article is written in vehement defense of the player, who has certainly had
more than his fair share of critics, to put it bluntly.
FC Barcelona is surely emerging as the most powerful team in Europe this season as their emphatic
dominance in each competition clearly does not lie. Besides, the Catalans have been widely tipped
for a treble by several major pundits of European football. However, it has become obvious in
recent weeks that Pep Guardiola and his men are beginning to radiate a sense of humility as they
urge everyone to relieve them of such massive expectations.
