When Wacko came to St James's Park Arguably the first (and probably the last) honorary director of
a football club to take up his post with a speech on AIDS has passed away at the age of 50. The

Remember the Claudio Lopez commercial for Time Warner Cable last year? Remember the young man in
that video with the dreadlocks? As of now, those dreadlocks are gone.
This week, Pembroke Hill raffled off the opportunity to cut off each of eleven year old A.J.
Cambric's 122 dreadlocks for charity.
Champions League Final ref gets blessing from the Pope When the Pope's not busy urging AIDS
sufferers to shun condoms, he loves nothing better than blessing referees. So Manchester United and
Barca go head-to-head tonight safe in the knowledge that referee Massimo Busacca has got the big
guy upstairs on his side/conscience.

Howdy friends,
I figured out an easy way for everyone to help carry me through this rough time in my life. I was
named one of the five finalists of the GQ Better Men Better World Search. If you literally have a
minute, please vote for me.
Andre "Andreia" Albertini, one of the three transvestite prostitutes who were invited back to
Fat Ronaldo's hotel room last year before he realized they were all men and kicked them out without
paying, died from AIDS last Thursday.
According to Albertini's mother, he contracted HIV back in 2006, obviously meaning he was
carrying the virus when Ronaldo had his close encounter with him.
Sometimes the stories write themselves. This, I think, falls into that category.
Spanish soccer giant Real Madrid has insured the legs of its newest signing, Cristiano Ronaldo, for
about $142 million.
Not sure what the policy entails, or what his teammates now think about their obviously
less-valuable legs, but that's how it goes with footie royalty I guess.
"She moves in mysterious waaaaays!!"
"Yikes! Mr Bono, don't creep up like that. You almost give me heart attack."
The Drog = cool. Deuce Dempsey = super cool. The Meerkat = scared by Bono's uncanny ability to
weasel his way into any photo opportunity.
- Too excited! Gaby Milito has been called up for the Club World Cup. It's his first official
call-up in a year and a half, he's gonna play! The day is near... my, we've missed this boy
too much, we just can't wait!
And, oh yeah - from the B-team, Jonathan Dos Santos is also included in the 23-man squad, along
with goalkeeper Ruben Mino.

Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Carrick have talked about their work with UNICEF and the difference
they hope they can make to the perception of HIV/AIDs.
"PICTURES: Dimi, Carrick and Giggs' Working For UNICEF" was originally
published at The Republik of Mancunia.
The potential threat to tourists contracting the HIV virus visiting sex workers becomes a hotly
debated issue for the South African National Aids Council (SANAC). The SA health minister laid out
the dangers.
"2010 is going to come with good things but it may also come with dangerous things," Health
Minister Aaron Motsoaledi said after a Sanac plenary meeting.
