Last night's match between Nigeria's Super Eagles and the Pharaohs of Egypt proved to be a walk in the park for the North Africans. Egypt beat, sorry Humbled Nigeria 3-1 to make it their first win over the West Africans in over 45 years!

The last time Egypt beat Nigeria in this competition was back in 1963 that is way before most nations participating at this tournament had gotten their independence!

Entertaining game, this, featuring two of the best teams on show in Angola. Chinedu Obasi put Nigeria in front after 12 minutes, but Egypt equalised when a goalkeeping error let Emad Moteab poke the ball into an empty net. A deflected Ahmed Hassan shot put the holders ahead, before a fine long-range strike from sub Gedo Nagy completed the comeback.
