This? Oh, it's nothing really. Just a photo of Sergio Aguero and his father-in-law Diego Maradona (who, I'm led to believe, was a footballer of some distinction at one point) having just booked in for a game of squash at the David Lloyd Fitness Centre in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.

As hinted at in last night's post it felt like a good night to be a blue from the word go.
City always seem to fall foul of Everton's superior workrate and commitment. Players like Aguero, Villa and Nasri have added real class to go along with the brawn but where is the steel that side will need to win a title?

When Atletico Madrid sold Sergio Aguero to England's Manchester City during the summer, there was all sorts of rumors that Aguero really wanted to move to city rivals Real, but that Atletico refused to sell him to their bitter rivals.

There were also rumors at the time that Aguero was only heading to Manchester for a season and that in 2012 he would be heading back to the Madrid, this time to play for the the white side of the capital.

Carlos Tevez was told by Roberto Mancini he would never play for Manchester City again. Carlos Tevez told Manchester City he never wanted anything to do with the club again. This week Carlos Tevez is going to return to Manchester City and within a couple of weeks, after fitness training, Carlos Tevez will be pulling on the blue Manchester City shirt all over again.

Carlos Tevez is on his way back to Manchester where he is expected to make up with Roberto Mancini and be included back in the City squad. I think it is a sign of how worried that City are that they will not win the league that they are willing to forgive and forget Tevez's actions.

And as a reminder of the kind of person he is, Tevez gave a farewell interview in Argentina with Fox Sports in which he made some incredible statements about the club, fans and manager.

Mario Balotelli announced his arrival scoring City's opening goal by pulling up his jersey to show his love for girlfriend Raffaela. The Manchester club polished off Blackburn further through goals by Kun Aguero and Edin Dzeko.

Some good news for City fans as their striker Carlos Tevez is set to star for City in a reserve League Cup tie against Preston on Tuesday. According to a spokesman for the club, Tevez who only resumed training with the first team last Thursday, is expected to make a relatively 'gentle competitive' appearance in Tuesday's match.

While Manchester City are sitting pretty at the top of the permier league table, there season hasn't all been plane sailing with the controversies off the pitch with the Carlos Tevez saga, but now that the Argentine striker returns to the club, David Platt insists the places of Manchester City's strikers will not be under threat any more than they have been all season.
