It's no secret that Chelsea is intrigued by Sergio Aguero, but that partnership looks closer to
becoming a reality after the Argentine striker revealed he is excited at the possibility of playing
for the Blues.
Sergio Aguero is one of the many high-profile transfer prospects on the market this summer
The World Cup will dominate the world's football focus this summer but that doesn't mean the
usual wheeling and dealing of the transfer market won't be in full force. Last summer saw the high
profile departure of Christiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid and Emmanuel Adebayor trading in the red of
Arsenal for the blue of Manchester City.

These stories have no relation to each other although Kun does qualify as a
perro for what he did to Giannina! (¿quién se cree que es?)
The photo of Aguero showing off his ink is pretty ancient, especially since he's had that tattoo
forever.
Maybe we should have seen this coming. Diego Maradona's Argentina had spent the entire
tournament so far on the front foot, without facing any opposition capable of counterattacking.
Germany had beaten England 4-1 in the Round of 16 doing exactly that, letting England over commit
and then tearing holes through the defence on the break.
Within a mere 24 hours of our Twit-King declaration, the Twittersphere landscape may already be
shifting in Sergio 'Kun' Aguero's corner.
With a tweet that read, "This Monday I'll be participating in the filming of Torrente 4 with
another player. Can you guess who that will be?" we were stirred, not shaken, with
bewilderment at what Kun had been rambling on about.
Two award ceremonies, two players, two very different reactions...

the Turin newspaper Tuttosport and voted for by European journalists to honour the most talented

In a difficult week for Liverpool, which say the team crash out of the FA Cup to lowly Reading,
fans have taken a crumb of comfort from the one piece of good news to come out of Anfield.
Maxi Rodriguez sealed his free transfer from Atletico Madrid on Wednesday afternoon, after
completing a medical on Merseyside.
That's right. The UEFA Cup/Europa League/whatever the hell it is, is officially more exciting than
that competition named something that Barcelona are going to win again.
Fulham pulled off a shocker by downing Wolfsburg, and they move on to face more of those "typical
germans". Meanwhile, Valencia and Atletico was just boring, as David Villa and Aguero just sat
there talking about how they should have moved to London.
After today's very disappointing draw at home to Fulham, people have been calling for wholesale
changes to the team in the close-season. Torres, Carra and now Benitez have been calling for £60
to £80 million to be reed up by the club to buy new players. Yes, I would to see a David Villa,
Silva, Aguero or a Ribery or two at the club, but its just not going to happen.
With hours left of the qualifying campaigns it looked like the best player in the world (Messi)
and one of his competitors (Ronaldo) wouldn't be at the World Cup. But, El Diego scraped it for the
Argies, and Portugal beat Bosnia in a play-off, so we get the whole media circus surrounding those
two.

Before yesterday, we were in danger of ending the season on one of our worst runs of form in
years, not just because of the games we've lost but the quality (of lack thereof) of the sides that
have defeated us.

Two World Cup favourites played friendlies on Monday night and got the results they wanted. England
beat Mexico without playing particularly well and Argentina clobbered Canada without Messi, Milito
and Samuel.
After announcing Argentina's squad of 23 last week, Maradona had this to say after winning 5-0 in
Buenos Aires.
Image Credit: NewscomIt is a well known fact that Chelsea have an ageing team. So you would have
thought that this summer represents a good opportunity to buy some good young players, thereby
bringing the average age down. But it seems Chelsea's fascination for older players will not
disappear, particularly when you look at the new potential targets, Yossi Benayoun and Srna.

Now that it has been a couple of days since Sir Alex Ferguson's sympathy-inducing video
regarding Wayne Rooney's future has made its way into the heinous hands of the media, the time is
right for the United gaffer to perhaps start dispersing his gaze towards replacements for the
former Everton forward.
Although Sergio Aguero is happy at Atletico Madrid and wishes to stay, the Spanish club has gone
on to say that "[They] still have long ways to go before they can secure his
signature."
"We've signed nothing and we still have time to talk about the renewal of
Aguero.
Back at the now "infamous" outback bar-cafe in the middle of the Spanish country side with the only
"Wi - Fi" connection in miles. Already asked for a coffee which gives me the "limited" right to
connect my PC & at least post the Round 9 Sunday games results of the Spanish League - Liga.

As derbies go, it's one of the most passionate and dramatic in Europe, however, in recent years,
it has also been one of the most one-sided. Despite going close on a number of occasions, Atletico
Madrid have not beaten their arch-rivals Real Madrid for over a decade back in the days when Jimmy
Flloyd Hasselbaink was plying his trade by the Manzanares.

Seeing we are in the Christmas festive season. Here is a human story that is related to Spanish
Football & Atletico de Madrid. Argentine star SERGIO AGUERO has placed on his official web site a
video of his son BENJAMIN AGUERO MARADONA in action. Benjamin with dad Sergio Aguero As you can
see clearly in the video young Benjamin has the DNA of grandfather DIEGO MARADONA & his dads from
the
Isn't genetics great? If Diego Maradona is your grandad and Sergio Aguero is you dad, the odds of
you being a decent footballer are stacked pretty heavily in your favour. Then again there is also
the chance that you will become a coke fiend. At less than two years old Benjamin Aguero seems to
be [...
Dimitar sulked after the kitman refused to sew pockets into his shorts
Rumour No.1: Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is set to put a
number of his star players up for sale in an attempt to rejuvenate his squad in the wake of a
number of stale performances this season, not least the toothless outing against Leeds last
week.
It looks like zio Ranieri is getting himself all worked up or rather,
excited over the possibility of the ToniTotti pairing for Roma this weekend
against Genova. He even compared the spectacle to Drogba's favourite film,
Avatar!
Finally, all these months of sulking and lack of form have passed and Kun Aguero
is starting to score again in the right places, por supuesto! It's pretty difficult not to
refer to The Dona when a photo of Kun comes up because you know
they're perpetually bounded by Benjie and baby pacifiers for the rest of their
lives.
After last night's Costa Rica game Maradona said that he already has 60% of the WC squad
list decided and that Messi, Veron and Mascherano will definitely be in the WC squad.
Only three names were given by Maradona but he's obviously made up his mind about many other
players.
The stories are rolling in like hot-fire! All that's left for John Terry to do
is needs to book an air ticket to Madrid ASAP to join Kun Aguero because that's
where cheating douchies go to for help. It's also where Tiger Woods will
check into immediately after his sex rehab and all members will enroll into Kun's imaginary
PhDs for their Womenomics studies which they will fail
upon their encounter with the first reading.

Just like the stuff that makes fairy tales, Chelsea's curse has been lifted for good. The
elite Premier League squad was currently supposed to be suspended from making any transfer moves
this summer, but that ban has been recently removed and the powerhouse club will be able to sign as
many players as they want.
We've not done one of these in AGES so here is another addition to our footballing lexicon the
'Trequartista'.
A trequartista is a term coined for that mythical 'second striker' role, someone who plays in
the hole, creates and scores, and is usually supremely gifted.
The Trequartista is not a new advent:
The Austrian 'Wunderteam' of the early 1930s had great success with Mathias Sindelar, a
centre-forward who constantly dropped deep, and Vsevolod Bobrov did similarly for the Dynamo Moscow
tourists who so delighted British crowds in 1945.
It's Easter Sunday this weekend so Bayern coach, Louis van
Gaal, did the honours and autographed an orange Easter Egg for the German press. At
present, it looks like something off the Alien Invasion set. They should have
totally brought the whole basket along complete with autographed OllieKahn dolls.
A propósito da exibição de Messi no jogo com o Arsenal dá para pensar que a Argentina tem "só"
estes jogadores para "encaixar" na frente de ataque da sua selecção: Messi (Barcelona), Milito
(Inter), Iguain (Real Madrid), Di Maria (Benfica), Aguero (Atl. Madrid), Lisandro (Lyon) e Tevez
(Manchester City), e se calhar ainda me falta algum, uff!
By the skin of their teeth, historic giants Argentina are in the World Cup finals. It's been a
bumpy ride the last few years, one fraught with missed chances, a lack of confidence and some
really expensive diamonds gone missing.
But they are here. With Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona who is, if you've just awoken from a
deep coma, the coach.
Valencia is currently in third place in La Liga and the Spanish squad has a four point lead over
fourth place Mallorca and a five point lead over fifth place Sevilla. In other words if the
season ended today, Valencia would still be top four stuff and qualify for the Champions League
next year.
Sergio Aguero has spoken about his desire to come and play for Chelsea and how he can learn from
Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.
He said:
"I look at players like [Didier] Drogba and [Frank] Lampard and they have been – and still are
– the best players in their positions in the world.
Here is a selection of what I am reading around the web:
The Official Chelsea website discuss the players return to training after a day off and player
updates.
Tribal Football claim that Roman has suspended contract talks until the end of the season.
CFCNET discuss fans owning 25% of Chelsea.
Fernando Torres will miss out again as Liverpool prepare to face Atletico Madrid on Thursday night.
After sustaining a knee injury, the number 9 will not be able to face his old club as Liverpool's
plight in the Europa League continues. The Reds reached destination Madrid earlier on today
after a mammoth journey across the continent.
