Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo, and justifiably so.
However, there's a lot more going on than Ronaldo's impending world-record dream move to Real,
and in today's transfer news and rumors roundup, there's a wealth of tidbits to discuss.

morning, and those new additions could soon be followed by a few more, according to the latest

daughter Giannina, 21, gave birth baby Benjamin Aguero Maradona was born at Madrid's

Well that was quite a month, wasn't it? We're already at the end of June, believe it or not, and
it was quite the busy month in the transfers world.
Many pounds and euros have exchanged hands around Europe already, and it's no surprise that the
month ends with a couple more new signings to add to our summer transfer lists.
The transfer market is in full swing & the "offer winds" are blowingonto all Clubs & particular

A model named Luisana Varacalli has been going around telling people that she
spent a hot night with Kun Aguero at a nightclub, thus cheating on
Gianina behind her back. Varacalli also confirmed that she has "photos" of their
time spent together.
Kun Aguero, who is being tracked by a number of big European clubs, has made
the headlines once again, but this time for all the wrong reasons. The reports in Argentina are
suggesting that Atletico Madrid striker is in danger of being dropped from the national
team, since Maradona believes that the player is cheating on his pregnant daughter
Giannina.

Altogether now..... awwwwww! What a lovely photo of Niño Torres and
his daughter, Nora! Ignore the new papa's hair though it looks straight out of a
1970s-based comic featuring neon yellow pants. Olala looks exhausted but who cares?
The club seem to have narrowed their search for a top hitman down to two, but who will they choose,
Sergio Aguero or Samuel Eto'o? Inter's vision to create a far more competitive squad and increase
fire-power up front has left them with a tough decision - they will have to choose between Atletico

Everybody's favorite international star-to-MLS rumor re-appeared over the weekend, and while
nothing has really changed with regard to the long-discussed potential THierry Henry to New York
Red Bull rumor, it still managed to resurface and create a little more buzz.
This time around it was the Daily Mail with a story on how Henry is set to pass on a move to
Manchester City in order to join the Red Bulls after the 2010 World Cup.

The likely departure of Cristiano Ronaldo is sure to leave a huge gap in the Manchester United
team, but that gap can always be filled with the £80m in exchange for Ronaldo. Who will the Red
Devils bring in this summer?
Frank Ribery, Bayern Munich: Well, here is a quality winger
that may just be able to fill Ronaldo's boots, but he definitely won't come cheap.
Come on Rafa!
David Silva has been linked with us longer than Bill Shankly it feels, but can anyone really see
him coming to Anfield? surely by the time we sign him he will be past his prime, Aquilani I
personally find a strange fit, I admit that I haven't seen that much of him and when I have seen
him he seems ok rather than outstanding, his fitness record isn't great plus the success of the
Italians in the EPL isn't fantastic.
For the second time in a row, Atletico Madrid's visit to Camp NOu turned out to be a nightmare. But
it was better than last time, I mean they score one more and conceded one less too this time
around. With this heavy defeat Atletico's start to the season has gone from bad to worse. First
half goals from Ibrahmovic, Messi, Alves and Keita, and an injury time strike from Messi condemned
Atletico's to their heaviest defeat this season.
Now according to ESPN, the not so "Great One" Jose Mourinho is looking to add both Antonio Cassano
and Deco to Diego Milito and Thiago Motta as Inter Milan continue to add to their collection of
talented, but miscast players. Exactly how many players does this team need? Are they trying to
build a third team in Milan?
Everybody began the Atletico year talking about Kun Aguero. We did. And rightfully so. But nose
into a discussion about Madrid's second team and you'll hear them gushing on one name - and it
ain't Kun. It's Diego Forlan, the 2008/09 ESM Golden Boot winner for the second time in five years
and perhaps the [.
Chelsea's bid for Sergio Aguero has stalled over the striker's incredible wage demands. The
Argentina star wants a staggering £10million a year to quit Spaniards Atletico Madrid for the
Premier League. That would easily make him the highest-paid player in England on a whopping
£200,000 A WEEK. Chelsea's top earners at the moment are skipper John Terry and [.

The real ‘fireworks' of our pre-season will kick off tomorrow at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal
will entertain Athletico Madrid and Rangers on Saturday and Sunday respectively in order to retain
the Emirates Cup.
This year's competition will kick off with Paris Saint Germain against Rangers but then the host
will play Spanish outfit Athletico Madrid in what is to believe going to be an entertaining
encounter.
Sergio Aguero celebrates Argentina's 3-0 rout of Brazil at the Beijing Olympics
There are matches being played all over the world. Then there is the Brazil vs Argentina
encounter.
Diego Maradona on the day before the match praised the thousands of fans who had shown up at the
Ros Tower Hotel.
According to the Madrid newspaper Diario AS, Maradona does not want the upcoming
friendly against Spain to be played in Atletico de Madrid's stadium.
Maradona wants the game to be played in Real Madrid's stadium because he does not want to be in
a stadium full of Atletico fans and have to deal with being pressured by the fans to include Sergio
Aguero in the lineup.
In form Bellamy will stay at Manchester City
As we mentioned a few weeks ago, last
January in the Premier League we were treated to a handful of
major transfers. I mean, some
massive, massive moves: Arshavin, Heskey, Given, Beattie, Defoe, Bellamy, etc. all moved
clubs...
So, who will make the move in 2010?
In the lead up to this weekend's Madrid derby, los Blancos' top hitman has praised his opponents'
own Argentine hot-shot. Two of Argentina's hottest young forwards, Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio
Aguero, will square off for bragging rights this weekend when their respective clubs, Real Madrid
and Atletico Madrid, collide in the local derby.
The World Cup is always a great stage for players to go out and make a real name for themselves.
Remember an 18-year-old Michael Owen bursting onto the scene with a fantastic solo goal against
Argentina in the 1998 World Cup? Or how about Sunday Oliseh and Jay Jay Okocha bursting into
prominence in the 1994 tournament in America.
First off, congrats to the Blues for a 2-1 FA Cup final victory against Everton. Though Timmy's
squad looked a bit uninterested throughout most of the game -- particularly on Lampard's
game-winner.
Also, Stamford Bridge is certainly expecting the arrival of now ex-AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti,
who recently announced he's leaving the club (and will be replaced by Leonardo).
Carlos Tevez (Manchester United):
Tevez had a tremendous impact in Manchester's 5-2 victory over Tottenham. He didn't score any goals
but created a goal conducive environment during the second half once he substituted for Nani. All
five goals came in the second half. What makes Tevez such a special player is his ability to switch
from striker to playmaker whenever the need arises.

Atletico Madrid last night told Manchester United it will cost them at least £52m to sign Sergio

1. Real Madrid have agreed to sign defender Raul Albiol from Valencia on a five-year contract, the
Primera Liga club said on Thursday, for around 15million euros. (Reuters)
2. Chelsea's summer of frustration in the transfer market deepened when Adriano Galliani, the Milan
vice-president, said that Alexandre Pato will remain at San Siro while Valencia's David Villa,
another to have attracted covetous glances from Stamford Bridge, ruled out a move to England.
The big news of the weekend thus far is the completion of the formality that was
Cristiano Ronaldo's world-record £80m transfer from Manchester United to Real
Madrid. In case you hadn't heard though, Ronaldo has signed a six-year deal with Real, and he'll
officially be unveiled as a Real player on July 6.
Lot of 'em today:
- Has the Xabi-to-Real Madrid move been agreed on?
- Chelsea won't sell Joe Cole.
- Senderos to Everton?
- Blackburn gets Blues' Di Santo.
- Messi gets new Barca offer.
- Sunderland nearly has Bent.
- Trezeguet staying at Juve.
The Clock is, as ever, ticking!

Euro 2009 for the ladies, a mouthwatering clash in the World Cup qualifiers to look forward to,
and controversial decisions from footballs governing bodies all feature on this week's Good, bad

Tonight is another must win game as time is beginning to run out on the national team's WC
qualifying campaign.
Though not official, the following starting lineup was the one that played in yesterday's
practice session:
Sergio Romero
Javier Zanetti
Sebastian Domínguez
Gabriel Heinze
Emiliano Papa
Javier Mascherano
Fernando Gago
Juan Sebastián Verón
Jesús Dátolo
Lionel Messi
Sergio Agüero
It is really hard to understand why Maradona is making a GK change for such a critical WC
qualifier tonight.
First off, a happy Eid to all who celebrate it, and particularly to Barca's muslim players, Keita,
Yaya and Abidal! Right now we're running late and you'll have to excuse us the match report for
Barca-Atletico; but we've rounded up all the post-match tidbits:
- This was the fiftieth Liga match for Gerard Pique (having played 27 with Barca, 23 with Zaragoza)
and he played hella great.
