The Arsenal board has announced that it will extend their lock-down agreement for 5 years till 2012
subject to certain conditions. As per this new agreement, the members who have agreed to this can
sell to some permitted persons only until 2009. This includes family members and close
relatives.
After this period, they can sell their shares, but only if the other members in the agreement
decline to buy it.
