Manchester City have completed the signing of Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor on a five-year contract.

The fee for the Togo international has not been disclosed, although the 25-year-old is believed to have cost City in the region of £25million.

The announcement was made at a glittering ceremony on Thursday night (19 November 2009) at the Sandton Convention Centre.
