Some highlights from the 'Champions for Africa' charity match organised by UNICEF.
Two teams, a Primera Division select led by Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos and an African all-stars team headed by Sevilla striker Frederic Kanoute played at the Vicente Calderon in Madrid with the proceeds assisting education programmes for Schools for Africa and Kanoute's City of Children in Mali Foundation.

Admit it: you know nothing about TP Mazembe. Naming one of their players without the aid of Wikipedia would be a minor miracle for most hardcore football fans.

Well they shocked, stunned and stupefied the world today in that quasi-competition known as the Club World Cup by downing an Inter the South American one in order to make it to the final presumably against the European one becoming the first African club to do so and leaving the world mourning the loss of those Inter v Inter headlines.
