There might not be a lot of football going on this weekend, but just as soon as the weekend is
over, we have a very full month of footie ahead. Here's a brief look at everything coming up in the
world of football, so you can plan your couch time appropriately. There are many more league games
than the ones we've listed, of course we've tried to pick out some highlights.
Eight teams remain in the AFC Champions League
The AFC Champions League, Asia's elite football competition, is back in action after a four
month holiday and it proved to be a mixed bag for the South Korean quartet who make up half of the
quarter-final draw. In the AFC Cup, the secondary competition equivalent to the UEFA Europa League
or Copa Sudamericana, Middle Eastern clubs continue to dominate with five teams from that region
remaining in the tournament whilst the other three quarter-finalists hail from the south east of
the continent.

end of the second week's games.
Qatar SC's Sebastian Soria opened the scoring in the 24th minute, but Al Khor soon attained parity
through an Alan Bahia penalty (31st min).
