This kid continues to show real promise and I am sure I am not alone in wishing that Rafa would bring him back to Anfield from his loan spell at AEK Athens. A few minutes after he scored this goal he was taken off with an injury, hopefully nothing serious. This goal put a rapidly improving Hungarian Under 21 side the lead against their Italian counterparts in this European Under Championship qualifier and reported Liverpool target Vladimir Koman got the second (Video also below)

This season has not started the best for Everton, so far they have been unable to recapture the form they showed last season in the league and  sit a lowly 13th. Sotirios Kyrgiakos is bracing himself for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after he suffered a serious injury on international duty.
Kyrgiakos - who joined the Reds from AEK Athens in August - was forced off before half-time during his country's 2-1 win over Luxembourg last night.

Everton rolled over AEK Athens on Thursday, winning 4-0 with goals from Joseph Yobo (10th), Sylvain Distin (17th), Steven Pienaar (37th), and Jo (82nd). Tim Howard needed one save for the shutout, but the end of the game didn't go as smoothly. Given the paucity of options we have in attack, where Voronin in somehow still given a run out and we have little or no cover for the mesmeric Fernando Torres, I found it odd that we loaned out Krisztián Németh to AEK Athens and now seeing him produce this bit of magic (see below) makes me believe he would be better off back at Anfield.
