One of the best things about being a Dynamo fan is our players give 200% on the field -- yes,
this is mathematically an impossibility, however, none of us would argue they do indeed give a full
200% -- except perhaps the occasional Right Midfielder/Winger from say Jamaica, not to single any
one specific player out or anything.
Time to put on your thinking caps, or tinfoil hat if you prefer, and dive into an examination of
the Dynamo's current roster and salary cap situation. A few notes before we get started:
- This is based on the last MLSPA Salary information release from 9/1/11
- There is some speculation on my part concerning salary levels for new players.
Instead of his deal ending in 2012, Houston Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear will be in Orange
at least until 2015, as he got a three-year extension to his contract with the team.
