For the first time that I can remember, MLS sent out a purely commercial e-mail today in the
form of a VW advertisement. The e-mail was presumably sent to all who have registered their
e-mail with MLS. The e-mail made no reference to soccer (other than the sender address and an
official partner note) and simply included a number of lease deals for the longtime MLS automobile
partner.
If the story put up by Sport.es is to be believed, FC Barcelona would be sporting a commerial
advertisement on the very much reverred Blaugrana jersey in the near future. Considering the
coziness between Sport.es daily and Sandro Rosell administration, this has to be seen as a definite
indication to the public about the inevitable.
Arsenal's own rare breed
It's Thursday today and still there are another 4 more days to go before Arsenal plays. Time
seem to pass slower when there are no matches to be played. Stories are few and far between, at a
time when players prefers to spend their time after training with their families in preparation for
the upcoming festive season.
