As we depart for the local pub, we'll leave you with this: four behind the scene shots of David
Beckham filming his H&M underwear advert for the Super Bowl next month.
TTYL, Kickettes!
Super Chelse Misfiring striker Fernando Torres is not the only person at Chelsea who isn't doing
his job properly at the moment. Somebody managed to spell the club's name incorrectly in an
electronic advert. The ad, which was displayed during yesterday's 3-3 draw with Manchester United,
invited people to visit chelsefc.

The great Usain Bolt once boasted that he was good enough to play for Man Utd, the club he
supports. He even took part in a training session with the Red Devils in 2009.
However, judging by this video, in which the sprinter fools around with his manager whilst
making an advert for Visa, he might not quite make the grade.

Hot on the heels of 'Write The Future' (remember Rooney's beard?) comes Nike's
latest major tournament bells-and-whistles big-budget viral, 'My Time Is Now', starring the like of
Sneijder, Ribery, Van der Vaart, Ozil, Ronaldo, Neymar, Iniesta, Pique, Pato, Old Uncle Tom Cobley,
etc, etc, etc.
Football and Music never meets, well rarely unless it does and I'm too stupid to realise. Anyway,
were you wondering what song is played at half time during ITV's coverage of Football? No? Well
here you go anyway, you ungrateful so-and-so's Now I leave you with my good friend Mr. Wiki Wiki

The latest installment of disgruntled-fans-sell-overpriced-former-star-on-ebay has launched,
right smack in the middle of the January window, leaving some hope.
The gentleman in question is Amauri, man of more nationalities than goals for his current club,
Juventus. Fans saw fit to throw him onto ebay, where the bids got up to now sit down €10m.
Former Celtic star Shunsuke Nakamura took part in a live stunt on Japanese TV show where he had to
try to curl the ball into a moving bus... Nakamura, who is still playing at 34 for his first
professional side Yokohama F. Marinos, launched this absolutely fantastic effort from an alleyway,
where he needed mirrors [.
Where there's subtle product shilling and grammatically correct Tweets on social media, you know
there's a shameless publicity stunt just 'round the bend, Kickettes. And for you today we have one
of the promo shots starring none other than Mrs Peter Crouch for the launch of Lynx Attract For
Her.
Pepsi's latest commercial features a bunch of hot footballers surfing their way across a crowded
arena to a bangin' soundtrack supplied by Calvin Harris.
The players were obviously selected to specifically engage with our own, very niche
demographic since Fernando Torres, Sergio Aguero, Frankie Lampard, Didier Drogba, Jack Wilshere and
Leo Messi were the boys the carbonated beverage brand chose to feature.
Alan Pardew very proud Here's the BBC interview with Alan Pardew we could have had four goals -
you have to wait of the advert playing. Alan praised the performances of Williamson and Perch at
the back, and Mike went close with two headers today and hit the post in the first half, and it

Don't expect Paddy Power's new goal-line technology advert to be gracing your TV screens any
time soon: 'Near the knuckle' doesn't even begin to cover it.
Or perhaps it does come to think of it...
Video: Paddy Power
There is no question that tonight is important. So much so, right now this game is more important
than the FA CUP final AND Champions League final because of the club's desire to finish in the top
four.
We could win the FA CUP but we wouldn't qualify for next seasons Champions League by doing so.
Luis Suarez advert lands Paddy Power in bother
Luis Suarez has been caught up in more controversy after bookmaker Paddy Power landed in hot
water for using the Liverpool striker in an advert.

for the British Heart Foundation. If you were wondering what to do if some geezer collapses in
front of you, wonder no more. No kissing required.

David Beckham, who launched his Bodywear collection for H&M earlier this month, will strip down to
his smalls for the advert - which is expected to be seen by 162 million people watching the Super
Bowl.
Speaking of the ad, H&M's North American director of marketing Steve Lubomski said: "We're
thrilled with this campaign and excited to captivate viewers' attention during the Super Bowl, the
biggest stage in the world to unveil our ad campaign, "David Beckham is a true style icon and one
of the most decorated soccer players of all time.
Newspapers are for news...
... not privatised profitable propaganda for one individual.
It always flushes out the murky does the January Transfer Window - with a business restriction of
just one month within season, all manipulations, criminalities, envelope stuffing, bribing and
pressurising are themselves pressured by time.
During the first half of the Watford v Spurs match, the ESPN cameramen spotted a rather simple man
who had WFC on both cheeks and clearly didn't realise that what he sees in the mirror isn't the
same as what the rest of us see... I can only assume he did the right cheek and [...] Related

Remember Leon McKenzie? No? Well he's a former Norwich striker who's now carving out a career in
music as some kind of Craig David sound-alike... Okay, so he doesn't exactly sound like Craig
David but, you know, Garbage (sic) music is all the same right? Well apparently he has also covered
King's of Leon (like everyone) [.
What was a dream at 3-0 quickly morphed into a nightmare near full time for the Chels, as
Manchester United with a helping hand from good friend Howard Webb clawed back to secure a 3-3 draw
in a breathless encounter at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Yeah, that's a difficult result to accept.
The 12 most annoying football clichés - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
We all love talking about football, with the latest matches, transfers and events dominating the
train of thought and sparking debate on a daily basis. From the highest echelon of football
commentators, journalists and even the players and managers themselves, down to the man in the pub,
anything can be explained and justified with a well-rehearsed and used-to-death cliché.
We love Mario Balotelli, but as Sam Hasse discusses...could he be on his way out of the
Premiership. Love him or loathe him, you can't help but talk about the enigma that is Mario
Balotelli. Amid his recently imposed 4-match ban, Balotelli's agent has come out publically and
said that he feels that he is being victimised in the Premier League, and [.

Brazil have two new kits out (this way for photos), and therefore Nike needed
an ad premise that would suitably showcase them both simultaneously. The result? With cameos from
Neymar, Ganso, Pato, Ronaldo and...erm...Javier Mascherano, they had Brazil take on their greatest
adversaries: Brazil.
Spanish multinational insurance company, Groupama, under pressure from the Operation Black Vote,
to pull its latest advert starring our beloved Pepe Reina.
Via the HuffPo:
"The commercial depicts black people, in a jungle scenario as "stupid, backward, animalistic
homosexuals", according to the UK racial equality group.
By Chris Wright
While compatriot Pepe Reina is busying himself by starring in insurance commercials of
questionable taste and virtue, Spain duo Iker Casillas and Andres Iniesta have
starred in an altogether more wholesome advert campaign for La Liga BBVA which sees the pair taking
to the streets and act their arses off with a bit of starry-eyed role reversal asking stunned
members of the public for autographs, hugs and photographs.
Wolves v Man Utd by Phentore01 1. Manchester United took the opportunity of rivals City having the

is on a hiding to nothing at Wolves. 3. Papiss Cisse has decided that if Usain Bolt can pretend to
be [.
Tuesday night's Coppa Italia match between Milan and Juventus was a fantastic advert for the
Italian game. This season's two best teams by some distance, eights point to be exact, played out
an entertaining draw at Juventus's new and impressive stadium. There were goals, two splendid ones
at that, and the two strongest sets of players in the Serie A on display.

He's so dreamy, isn't he? That's the premise this new Burger King commercial plays up to at least.
Make eye contact with David Beckham and that's it: you're under his spell. While that has its
advantages, it does make it difficult to get decent service at Burger King. Unfortunately, his LA
Galaxy team-mates seem to [.
TweetLA Galaxy midfielder and former England captain David Beckham is the star of the show in a new
Burger King advert. Ok, so the acting is diabolical, but hey, on this cold Spring morning,
Beckham's 31 seconds in front of the camera brought a wry smile on the lips of In The Stands'
editor-in-chief AA [.

Former Manchester United and Dutch keeper Edwin Van Der Sar was back in unfamiliar territory as
he went about saving penalties from a boat in Amsterdam in an advert for Adidas.
With the Euros fast approaching and the domestic season drawing to a close, it is time for
England's sponsors to release their tournament adverts. Mars have already released their penalty
shoot out advert, which is so poor it forces sick into my mouth whenever I get caught unawares with
it on screen.
Another advert released for Euro 2012 is Carlsberg's Fan Academy. Carlsberg have taken to using as
many famous football faces as possible in their recent attempts, and this is no different, with
three wannabe England football fans being shown round England's Official Fan Academy by Des Lynam.
The advert contains names such as Lynam, Peter [.

Manchester United's new Gingham home kit, for better or worse, has been
designed to reflect the city's industrial heritage so much so, in fact, that the motto 'Forged in

himself.

Bursting at the seams with enough edits to sink a battleship, but a fairly cool little advert
none-the-less which sees David Beckham playing Beethoven's Ode To Joy on his drum wall using
nothing but his balls to flog Samsung's new Galaxy widget...
ITV have created an advert which imagines if instead of England flobbing up every international
tournament going (if we even qualified) we actually dominated international football for a period
of almost fifty years. It is entitled It's Good To Dream, and it immortalises all of the England
captains through the years with statues outside Wembley [.
