Watch Wayne Rooney recreate his City goal in new Nike ad, Joe Cole's rotten karaoke and
amazing Brazilian skill
Presenting quality football videos from the interweb, daily at 3pm. Here's today's collection:
1) First off is a Manchester United-related video. No, not Sir Alex putting the boot into Kenny
Dalglish's kid that's covered off elsewhere but rather a brand new ad for the Nike T90 boot
featuring the newly hirsute Wayne Rooney.
Love the new advert for the upcoming edition of FIFA Street that Vice shot. Sh*t's vibrant, lively
and captures the essence of the street game around the world. Also it uses "Crache La Douleur" by
Fanga & Tony Allen; nothing like a little Afro-beat niceness to make me feel good about a game that
disappointed last time around.
Rovers are revolting You will recall we brought you footage of Blackburn's hilarious advert to flog
chicken for their owners Venky's in July. Along with everyone else we had lots of fun with the fowl
as in chicken/foul as in poor tackle pun. But now Rovers defender Michel Salgado has confirmed that

So tomorrow night AVB makes his first venture as manager into the League Cup at the third round
stage against our local rivals Fulham. Now in his press conference when he took over as manager of
the football club, he stressed the importance of trying to win all four trophies we are entered in
for this season so bear that in mind in this post.
During Ipswich's game with Coventry last night, both Jimmy Bullard and Keith Andrews wanted to take
a free kick. How did they settle who got to take it? Like men with a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors...
I'm not a fan of the game because whenever I have a kickabout with friends, we always do
rock-paper-scissors [.
I think if we are honest here, the Carling Cup is the competition that isn't exactly our priority
this season BUT saying that, is the first available trophy to win this season. AVB has made a point
of saying that we will enter all four competitions to try to win them so expect some changes
tonight but alongside strong first team players.
Editors Note: A two-for this week from "The Other 87" in contributions. This article by
Eric Betts was just too good to not feature on the hallowed site. Agree? Disagree? Let us

There's an advert on television at the minute for the video game Deus Ex: Human Revolution which
uses a memorable Darwin quote in its opening sequence.
"It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that
survives.
