Mario Balotelli's fabulous T-shirt asking 'Why Always Me?' is now on sale for $13.90 and is set to
come to a shop near you! Balotelli curled in the opening goal at Old Trafford for visitors
Manchester City before the striker stood still in Eric Cantona-like fashion, looked dead straight
before brandishing a powerful, yet humorous [.

With a line-up that reads like a yoof-orientated reboot of FIFA's 'Council of Wisdom', EA have
released a new viral trailer for FIFA 12 into the wild a teaser which sees a hotch-potch of famous
faces including Drake, Li'l Wayne, L'il Wayne Rooney, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer (who, worryingly, seems
to base his entire coaching know-how on computer games), Kaka, Giampaolo Pazzini (for a
split-second) Jack Wilshere (needs subtitles) and the mighty presence that is Scott Sellars all
'living their passion through FIFA'.

In which former Chelsea striker, professional gruff Scotsman and current Portland Timbers head
coach John Spencer puts in a fairly decent comedy turn as an air hostess in this mildly mirthful
'Employee Exchange' advert for Alaska Air...
Good to see a member of the footballing fraternity actually appear half-way lifelike on camera
for once rather than looking like a complete ironing board.
Drake, Weezy and nationally-ranked Connor Chinn in the same advert? One of these things is in no
way like the other. And by that I mean one of these guys would probably get in trouble for talking
publicly about guns & drugs use and calling people by the "N" word. The other two? They just get
rich for doing it.

Soccer Blossoming in the USA
Now we are moving into the last game of the MLS calendar, it feels fitting that we reflect on
another successful year for the Major league soccer. I will be looking into their current stature
with the other big four sports in america and where i think they need to go for them to expand and
grow bigger.
NBC is in the process of rebranding versus. Part of how they are doing that is by featuring MLS,
in this case the LA Galaxy. This is an amazing advert for the league.
There must have been something in the air in Cheshire yesterday, because several Manchester
United players and their families were spotted out walking, talking and doing stuff.
Let's take a look:
The Best Dressed Family award goes to the Van der Sars.

You have a woman's touch, Lord Berba...
A typically elegant piece of tekkers by Dimitar Berbatov, as spotted last night during Man Utd's
great escape at Blackpool; Berba is the artist to Rooney's artisan. It's a triffic blend for
United.

I don't really remember why Steve Nash is a Pies hero, other than the fact that he is what
enlightened scholars tend to refer to as a 'massive dude'.
Any road up, here he showing us his favourite freestyle basketball/football hybrid trickshot in
a (possibly CGI'ed?
Now if any of the Yanks that actually play in Mexico ever get endorsement deals for Mexican or
Mexican-American focused products we're going somewhere.
The aesthetics of this advert are just weird, right? It looks like we're in some bizzaro world
where Clint plays in the FMF. Strange.
I've been putting together an article on some retro TV adverts starring footballers for Betfair
Football and came across these two classics starring our own Pat Jennings.
The following one featuring Pat dressed up as a goalkeeping oil filter for Unipart was pretty
familiar to me, but the advert below in which he stars alongside Tony Tiger in an advert for
Frosties was one that I hadn't seen.
Renault has teamed up with Thierry Henry again. The New York Red Bulls player first endorsed the
car manufacturer back in 2001 where he starred alongside his now ex-wife. The new advert features
Dita Von Tease along with clips from famous films and oddly Rihanna. The ad asks us, "What is Va Va
Voom?" Perhaps, this ad?
Luis hits the bottle It turns out that overpaid footballers still aren't paid enough. Luis Figo is
now starring in an advert for men's hairdye Just For Men. The former Portuguese star's jet black
locks might not be as natural as you thought. He is the new face of the grey hair hider, famed for

The final piece of four wrapping up the season, delayed by a few mishaps but here
finally
So let's pull this all together. I've looked back at the players, the team and the manager. It's
been a positive season with unforgettably cracking football and the blazing thrill of the Champions
League tainted by the frustration of what might have been.
Chelsea and Manchester United will engage in an auction for the services of Luka Modric. Not
ITK, just obvious, and something I've mentioned a couple of times since the season finished. He's
one of the top midfielders in Europe and certainly the best outside the top four, with the possible
exception of Gerrard who is welded to his club.
Please don't go This advert for Chilean beer company Cristal has cunningly/unintentionally
pre-empted the Alexis Sanchez transfer saga. The premise of the advert is that Chile's top stars
are saying goodbye to Europe to head back to South America for the Copa America. The European's are
distraught to see their stars, including Sanchez, Sevilla's Gary [.
Mario Balotelli was condemned by a leading anti-knife crime group for apparently turning
up in a t-shirt that glorifies violence on his first day back at training. Here is Mario in said
top...
Gary Trowsdale, managing director of the Damilola Taylor Trust, said:
"This kind of thing is reprehensible but it doesn't surprise me.
LFC scooped another industry accolade recently when it landed the prestigious Best Digital
Marketing Campaign from the MBNA Northern Sports Awards for its 'We Make The Shirt. You Make It
Liverpool FC' launch.
The 2010-11 kit launch, which saw a sponsor change to Standard Chartered Bank, was an historic
event for LFC and the club wanted to create a point of difference.
Thanks to the guys over at Sports Direct, who handed over a pair of Nike CTR360 Maestri II football
boots, i've had a chance to see what the fuss is about. First things first, these boots are bright,
so wearing them clean WILL make you look like an A class 'bellend'. If you can't hit [...] Related

Watch Wayne Rooney recreate his City goal in new Nike ad, Joe Cole's rotten karaoke and
amazing Brazilian skill
Presenting quality football videos from the interweb, daily at 3pm. Here's today's collection:
1) First off is a Manchester United-related video. No, not Sir Alex putting the boot into Kenny
Dalglish's kid that's covered off elsewhere but rather a brand new ad for the Nike T90 boot
featuring the newly hirsute Wayne Rooney.
As part of Nike's French 'new era' campaign a Nike representative talks football
to new manager Laurent Blanc. It's all arty and stuff...
Oh, and it looks like a rugby shirt.

Samut Prakan United have announced via their official message board that they will take on Thai
Port as part of their pre-season preparations. The game will take place on Sunday January 30th at
Sport Authority of Thailand Stadium, Bang Phli, Samut Prakan. The kick-off time is 2:00pm (i
think!).
* Any idea why the 'about us' section on SPU's website gives a potted history of Manchester United?
I have no idea how you could be a Salt Lake City-area soccer fan and NOT buy tickets to see this
team. If the fact that they're pretty good isn't enough, this advert by TOR favorite T. Issac
Halasima makes them look like straight up superheros; surely this is Eurosnob kryptonite.
What a run we are on! Can our East London neighbours stop the momentum this team is building?
If Arsenal were to lose today would it have a knock on effect for the rest of the season? What do
you think?
I know what I am about to write will be as popular as a root canal treatment but I can see
advantages to our suffering a cup upset.
Xmybox are essentially an American Ann Summers and they have come up with a great way
for women to enjoy football (if they don't already)...
Click here to view the embedded video.
The advert stars two animated characters supporting opposing teams. The male Italian fan
seems confused at her sudden excitement at the match (even though she is kitted out in football
gear and is probably a fan anyway) -It however turns out that her excitement is due to her
sitting on a football shaped although not sized vibrator.

Yet more snazzy Champions League final-y goodness, this time in the shape of Nike's
fresh-out-of-the-box viral advert entitled 'Glory is Ours', in which both Barca and United players
don their best 'serious faces' and give the camera all they've got baby.
It's been a long day and I would love to write a piece lauding praise upon the last true
great of the English game. For now however, a fitting tribute video will suffice....i'll put
something together on Thursday. Honest.

Also the two song's featured are personal favourites of mine.
Nudist Mestalla There is often tabloid whispers about naked footballers having a viral effect on
the public, and that's certainly the intention of this advert from Valencia. In a bid to flog their
new home shirt, the Spanish side have convinced some of their star players to strip for this video.
Roberto Soldado and Joaquin [.
The Homeless World Cup 2011 is just a couple of months away. To get you in the mood they've created
this video advert for the event, to be held in Paris in August.
And they've got some guy called Eric Cantona to do the voiceover.

Seattle Companies Export Humor, While Portland Buts A Bird On It
Remember that pretty funny advert with John Spencer in it? He was advertising for a Seattle
based company - Alaska Airlines. Guess what?
A Seattle ad-firm came up with it.
It's an outrage! He is a disrespectful, lazy, petulant boy with no idea how lucky he is and this
just sums it all up. It was only a friendly, he thought he was off-side, and it had little bearing
on the game as Manchester City went on to defeat the LA Galaxy, on penalties at [...] Related

Sly digs abound in Corinthians' new advert for their club shop, in which 'Kaka' (formerly of Sao
Paulo) and Santos prodigy 'Neymar' make low-key visits to the store to pick up a few bits of
Timao tat...
Shame Corinthians didn't snaffle Carlos Tevez the other week, as his official lookalike hasn't
really had much work since 2003.

You're all familiar with the 'Old Spice guy' advert, right? Well here's Chivas USA's frankly
brilliant parody in which stacked midfielder Michael Lahoud takes on the role of 'Chivas Guy' to
help flog tickets...
'I'm on...a Jimmy Conrad' has just become our catchphrase of the day!
Hello ladies Chivas USA midfielder Michael Lahoud has been drafted in to help the club shift more
tickets by spoofing the cult/irritating Old Spice advert. No doubt you have seen the once
hopelessly unfashionable deodorant makers' impressive attempts at rebranding on your TV screens.
Now the MLS outfit has produced a hilarious homage to the [.
