New signing Javier Mascherano took part in his first training session with Barcelona yesterday morning, albiet one that lacked most of the players from the senior squad seeing as they're away on international duty.
Mascherano, who arrived a half hour early to the Ciutat Esportiva, sat down to the team breakfast with Maxwell, Adriano, Keita, Abidal, Alves, Pinto and twenty-five B-teamers, before being ushered out to the training pitch by Adriano and Alves to work with his new coach for the first time.

Wow, that's all I can say seeing some of the transfers that have gone through in the past few days. While there aren't too many "big" names which moved around, there's are certainly some interesting, young and skilful players which are going to be wearing new jerseys this season. Ieri abbiamo assistito all'esordio in Champions dell'Inter che ha chiuso con il risultato di 2 a 2 in casa del Twente di Preud'homme. Punto che va bene ai nerazzurri, soprattutto perchè giunto grazie alla rimonta firmata dal bomber africano Eto'o, autore della magnifica conclusione che ha determinato il risultato finale.
