A's most useless player, has been 'won' by Roma's Adriano for the third time, making him both the

hurrah).

Young Barca side Strolls Past Rubin Kazan
It's fourth time lucky for Guardiola and Barca against the Russian side Rubin Kazan. Rubin Kazan
have been remaining as an unsolved puzzle till tonight. Guardiola tried thrice unsuccessfully with
the first team to break the Russian side, it looks like he should have gone for the kids earlier
itself.
The shortlist for the annual Bidone d'Oro has recently been announced with a number of high profile
stars in the running for the award which celebrates a year of being... rubbish... quite literally.
To honour those who have had a particularly terrible year, the Bidone d'Oro Golden Bin is a prize
given to the worst footballer in Serie A each year and the winner.
I know that it has taken a while for me to get back, but welcome back to the Roma Review! A very
biased article on the Giallorossi. It has been a long week for Roma, who had two away games, one in
Serie A and another in the Champions League. Although Roma are usually a strong team at home, on
the road is a different story.
AS Roma striker Adriano won Italy's infamous Golden Bin award for a third time on Monday after
again being voted Serie A's worst player by fans.
The burly Brazilian, given the Rai Radio 2 prize by listeners in 2006 and 2007 while playing for
Inter Milan, returned to Italy with Roma at the start of the season after a stint at Brazil's
Flamengo but has made only three appearances.
Off The Ball never rests in its mission to scratch around the underbelly of professional
football to find the most bizarre, humorous and inexplicable stories.
This week, Adriano wins a his third Bidone d'Oro, Cristiano Ronaldo has no mates, an
Ecuadorian player is suspend after faking his identity for seven years, the Peruvian cup final
descends into a brawl and Carlos Tevez says goodbye to Manchester.
Season's have their turning points, and I have a feeling that today was a crucial one. We saw
Inter Milan rise back to form with a 3-0 win over TP Mazembe in the FIFA World Club Cup final, and
we saw AC Milan fall to Roma at the San Siro, 1-0 for the giallorossi thanks to former AC Milan
player, Marco Borriello.
Since this was the final game before the Winter break, I was hoping for a battle, and that is what
I got. I was a little skeptical about Roma's chances going into this game. Their poor performance
against Bari the week before gave us Giallorossi fans little confidence. Even though Roma defeated
Bari, the team as a whole seemed lethargic.
