[Editor's note: While I cannot say that I heard the language that
Espindola reportedly used, I was only a row up from where he flipped off fans. Despite my best
efforts, no video or pictures are currently in my possession to use for this article. If any do
come about I will update with them.]
At halftime of the Philadelphia Union's 1-1 draw on Saturday, frustrated Real Salt Lake striker
Fabian Espindola lost his composure and made an unprofessional 'salute' to the Sons of Ben in the
River End on his way to the away team locker room.
With MLS' drafting season nearly complete (the Supplemental Draft is tomorrow...more on that
after the jump) we can start to get a better picture of what the Houston Dynamo roster will look
like in 2011. The most obvious change is the youth movement, with several veterans not returning
including Pat Onstad, Richard Mulrooney and Adrian Serioux.

To date, perhaps no team has had as active a preseason than the Houston Dynamo. And the club has
barely hit the training pitch.
With the team breaking ground on its new downtown stadium last week and the club being shifted
to the Eastern Conference (for this season at least), change is in the air in Houston.

2011 is a year of new beginnings for Toronto FC.
An 11th-placed finish in last year's campaign fell wildly short of both fan and ownership
expectations, resulting in the ousting of head coach Preki and director of soccer Mo Johnston.
Under the advisement of former German national team coach Jurgen Klinsmann, Toronto hired Ajax
assistant Aron Winter head coach and brought Paul Mariner back to the MLS as director of player
development following his unsucessful stint as manager of Plymouth North End.
I held off writing my blog on Saturday night's game until Sunday morning. I thought that I needed
time to cool off. I think we can file that idea as yet another strategy that isn't working
regarding Toronto FC and the fans. I knew there were going to be bad nights going into "Season V
– the rebuild", but I think something snapped last night.
I guess that an event such as Philadelphia Union coming to Toronto in their second year and scoring
a record number of goals against TFC was not a complete shock today. The question that was bouncing
around my head on the way home today was a simple one, will TFC get worse before they get better?
If you judge the TFC future by the post-game conference with Coach Winter saying these are not my
players, my players will start arriving throughout June, you have to lean towards getting worse
before it gets better.
