I've been checking out the political scene a little bit this morning and come upon the usual fare
from the usual culprits. We've got McCain calling Social Security a disgrace and straight-talking

I'm home and still catching up, so this will be brief. We're undergoing an audit by the State
of NH at work starting tomorrow and running through the end of the week. (As Princess Sparkle

Lots to write about today ... and let me start with what's been nagging at me ever since this whole
Wall Street debacle became the latest national emergency. I keep thinking, "What if this
really is an emergency? Bush certainly looked terrified last night in the clips I saw of his
address to the nation.
The Phillies pulled out a 3-2 win with a big sixth inning and so are up 1-0 over Manny and the
