As you know adidas has been running the Impossible Is Nothing campaign and have recently sent
our a survey about the YouTube commercial they did with Becks and Reggie Bush. What I found
interesting about the survey was the question they asked,
"Everyone around the world, except in the US, calls soccer "futbol."
Do you believe it should be called "futbol" in the US too?
....but I'll be wearing this shirt pretty soon. I've talked about wearing old Galaxy shirts all the
time as proof I'm not some bandwagon Becks fan. But to be honest, I hope the all white (with blue
and gold trim) is what LA will be wearing on a permanent basis...like after Becks retires.
To go with the release of the new Predators, the Adidas Predator Swerve as discussed on footy boots
and to follow up my post about the Nike Mercurial Vapors, I thought I'd post about a pair of
Predators that I've owned (well, in fact still use on occasion), the Predator Pulse. These were

Europass soccer ball, the successor to the Teamgeist, which we've written about a few times before.

The FIFA 2014 World Cup inspection tour of Brazil is underway. Representatives will visit five
candidate cities during their nine-day trip while 13 other cities will make their presentations in
Rio de Janeiro.
Although Brazil is the only country up for consideration to host the finals, they are not
guaranteed to win them. FIFA will want to know how the country plans to update their stadiums and
transportation options before they award them the 2014 cup.
