Adel Taarabt had been considered one of the hot prospects of European football when arriving to
Tottenham two years ago, but he saw his chances severely limited at White Hart Lane outfit.
Nevertheless, the loan move to QPR did him a lot of good and he showed what a great player he could
become after [.
Adel Taarabt is a player that displayed a great amount of talent in his first few cameo
appearances for Spurs but has since found it hard to persuade Harry Redknapp of his worth, hence
being loaned out to QPR. However this is a fantastic goal from a player who at 20 still has time on
his side.

Adel Taarabt is proving a big success on loan at QPR, so much so that perhaps its time Harry
considering bringing the attacker back to White Hart Lane?

QPR Official Site - EXCLUSIVE: TAARABT DEAL COMPLETED
- The Club is delighted to confirm the season long loan signing of Moroccan international
midfielder Adel Taarabt.
His star may have dimmed at White Hart Lane but Adel Taarabt is in fine form this season. The
attacking starlet has been outstanding for QPR this season and can't stop scoring for Egypt as they
look to edge Algeria for a spot in next summer's World Cup Finals.

Much has been made about Tottenham's spending (almost £150m on transfers in the last 16
months), which presumably pushes them above the Big Four in spending and leaves them second only to
Manchester City.
On the surface, it's a lot of money for not a lot of success. However, keep in mind that this
Tottenham side has also seen a lot of exits, some of them at fairly good prices too.
Tottenham fans must be thinking that their team is cursed since the club management, or should
we say Daniel Levy, has spent a tremendous amount of money on new players in the
last few years but they are still far away from breaking into the top four. The biggest flaw in
this "master plan" was that the club did not have the patience to stick to the players they'd got
and gradually reinforce the squad, but they kept buying and selling players like
their lives depended on that.

Apologies about the lack of posting recently. I've slipped into an euphoria-induced coma at the
sight of Tom Huddlestone and Peter Crouch both coming on for England in Doha on Saturday. The
prognosis? I'll be okay in the long run but Jermaine Jenas definitely won't go to the World
Cup.
I promise normal service will be resumed shortly, once the deluge of Uni work is eased a little
bit.

QPR Official Site - HART: 'IT'S HARD TO SWALLOW'
Paul Hart admitted that his side's inability to take their chances in the first half against
Ipswich Town played a large part in their defeat at Portman Road.
