Neil Warnock's sacking by QPR after a run of just two points from their last eight league
matches was not as much of a surprise as one would expect. Warnock had not only saved the club from
relegation after joining from Crystal Palace during the 2009-10 season but led Rangers to the
Championship title in his full season.

Neil Warnock demands unity as Joey Barton criticises Adel Taarabt
• Barton criticises QPR's Taarabt for sulking
• A mole has been leaking QPR's team news
Neil Warnock's attempt to keep Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League has been complicated by a
double outbreak of dressing-room discontent, as Joey Barton publicly criticised the attitude of his
team‑mate Adel Taarabt while Warnock called for help to catch a mole who is leaking team secrets.

Sometimes we, and by we I mean the blog, pay the price for this not being a full time job. There
are times when the job that pays the bills takes precedence over the enjoyment of bringing you blog
posts so long that your bosses, significant others, non-fantasy-playing friends, and children
complain about the time spent on them on occasion.
After a largely inactive summer, a late spending spree sanctioned by new owner Tony Fernandes
has done wonders for Queens Park Rangers' squad by giving Neil Warnock a much deeper and talented
pool of players to work with.
This new-found quality in the team has turned QPR from a likely relegation candidate to a side
that can perhaps push into the mid-table region and cause a few upsets along the way.
Why Blackburn, Norwich and Swansea are my tips to go down
The relegation scrap will be almost as intriguing as the battle for the title. Each season you
always have to look at the newly promoted teams and I fear for Norwich and Swansea. But QPR may
have enough because they are a team with goals in the form of Jay Bothroyd, DJ Campbell and Adel
Taarabt.
So, what about midfielders. After all, they are usually the most important choices to be made in
your fantasy premier league team. Many seasons have shown that the players who collect the most
points in fantasy premier league are almost always midfielders. The reason of course being that
they get points for just about anything, 5 points for a goal (that's 1 point more than attackers
get.
Quick Reminder, Real Life It was a bit of an odd ride to clinching the Championship title last
season with the threat of 10 point penalty hanging over the club until the waning days of the
season. With that disaster averted, Rangers are free to celebrate their return to the Premier
League on the back of a particularly stingy defense which conceded 10 fewer goals than the next
closest
The waiting is almost over as the Championship kicks back in to action on Friday night as Hull face
Blackpool at the KC Stadium. For lower league fans all across the country the time is now upon you
as reality kicks in. Will your pre season optimism turn to a nightmare? Is it inevitable that [...]

Joe Cole to Make QPR Switch
Joe Cole is being heavily linked with a move to QPR as he looks to re-establish himself as a
first team footballer in the Premier League...again. Reports suggest a loan deal could be agreed
in the coming days, although the Reds would prefer to let the player go on a permanent basis if
possible.

Queens Park Rangers playmaker Adel Taarabt has reignited speculation over his future by stating
he would be "disappointed" not to seal a summer switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
With the new football season just weeks away, a busy summer of transfer activity in and around
the Premier League shows no signs of slowing down.
Manchester United were the early movers in the transfer market with the purchases of Ashley
Young, Phil Jones and David De Gea but it would appear that any hopes that they had of signing
Wesley Sneijder from Inter are fading with increasing rumours that Manchester City might be in for
the Dutch International.
Teams are returning to preseason training around Europe and there are ton of story lines. But here
are five clubs that I will be keeping on a close eye during this upcoming season.
PSG: I have highlighted them in the past, but they are the team to watch in France this year. They
are closing in on QPR's Adel Taarabt, that should be the first of many big money signings at the
capital city club.

Harry had wanted a quiet pre-season but Kevin Bond's comedy tumbleweed was just ridiculous'It's oh
so quiet, ssshhhh, ssshhhh'. Let that be the first and last time Bjork is ever paraphrased on this
previously refutable publication.
The girl's got a point though. There's little activity in the world of Spurs these days, unless you
choose to include meaningless transfer gossip as 'activity'.

Marc Bircham has told talkSPORT that there is more to Queens Park Rangers than just Adel Taarabt.
Two years ago, the fate of Manchester City changed when a big money group purchased the club. Fast
forward to this upcoming season and all of the money that was spent in the transfer market has paid
off as the club will be playing the in Champions League. The same might be happening in France with
Paris Saint-Germain.

The Daily Mail is reporting today that QPR's Adel Taarabt may want a move to Newcastle. Taarabt 19
goals in 44 appearances last season It seems that contract talks between the skilful midfielder and
QPR, the winners of the Championship last season, have now broken down, and the 22-year-old who has
massive skills, says [.
It will come as no surprise to Newcastle United fans that the club is now being strongly linked
with another midfielder with French connections, although Arsenal's alleged interest in Joey Barton
may be a little more surprising. I am most disappointed to find we haven't signed any new players
yet today.
Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt confessed he would be delighted to join a big club in

After the dramatic events which unfolded on the morning of Queens Park Rangers' last match of
the season when the club's promotion to the Premier League was finally confirmed after the FA
imposed a £875,000 fine rather than a heavy points deduction, Rangers' fans could be forgiven for
looking forward to a summer filled with hope and expectation about their first season back in the
top flight since 1995-96.
