Barely a week in the Championship seems to pass without Adel Taarabt causing a stir.

Only a day after his cousin was killed in Marseille, Queens Park Rangers' Moroccan Magician Adel Taarabt was recognized by the FA as the Football League's Player of the Year yesterday. Manager Neil Warnock has told him to spend the next week with his greiving family (he missed the win over Doncaster on Saturday), but Adel was still able to pick up the award last night.

News today on the transfer front, that Newcastle are thinking of making a bid for QPR's top midfielder Adel Taarabt. Adel Taarabt - hard to get this player from QPR Apparently manager Alan Pardew was said to be keen to bring Taarabt to St James' Park in January, but there was no way the QPR [...]
