Stop shit, if you can!
Dear Manu, (I would love to drop the 'dear', but my sensibilities don't allow me to do so).
I hope this letter finds you in low spirits. You have remained a cry baby and have been crying
for long that we (read: Gooners) have betrayed you. So I take this opportunity to show you the
mirror.
Some handbags reported in the Man City training grounds between former Arsenal mates, Adebayor
and Kolo Toure.
The reports of Edin Dzeko arriving at the Eastlands has further endangered Adebayor's status at
City. The disgruntled striker is probably wishing he had joined AC Milan when he had the
opportunity.
Merseyside Derby Lambananas
While most of America will no doubt be focused on the American version of football this weekend,
there are plenty of futbol matches for you to watch instead. Here are a bunch of selections; one
each from the German Bundesliga, the Italian Serie A, and the Spanish La Liga; a handful from the
English Premier League; and an international Copa Centroamerica match, broadcast live from Panama
City.
Real Madrid's signing of Emmanuel Adebayor has been as shocking as it is brilliant by Mourinho
and co. at The Bernabeu. Since his arrival at the Spanish capital in the summer of 2010, the
Portuguese tactician has gone about strengthening areas that needed development bringing in the
likes of Angel Di Maria, Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil to name but three players that have arrived in
the Spanish capital over the past six months.
2011 might officially be the year of the rabbit, but in truth twenty-eleven it is the
year of the bird. By this, I of course mean: Twitter. So with this in mind ITS is going to become a
little more 'socially' interactive and we will start by picking out our tweet of the
day...
This one comes from Rio Ferdinand's verified account:
These #eggs who sell signatures on ebay that wait at our training ground entrance ruin
it for the real supporters.
Manchester City
Position: 2nd, 12-5-4 (41 points, +17 goal differential)
Away Form: 6-2-2 (+10 goal differential)

Last Meeting: Manchester City 0 – Arsenal 3 (October 24, 2010)
Arsenal back in league action tomorrow with a titanic clash that is shaping up to be one of the
most important matches of the season for both teams.
Manchester City is doing one of the best seasons for them this year, they are having the second
place after Manchester United, with only goal difference. However, there are a lot of bad signs in
terms of what is going on inside the team. I remember reading an interesting article in Champions
magazine, and it was talking about the signs of a collapse of a team.
Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor being separated by teammatesThere has been much criticism aimed
towards Roberto Mancini's Manchester City. Although the Italian has guided City to third in the
Premier League table, he still has a lot of work to do. This hectic month is the window for City to
get rid of a few problems, and buy a talented Bosnian forward.

So another massive game for us. Whilst it is true to some extent that every game now is massive,
this one is especially important because of where us and City are sitting in the table.
I don't care what anyone says, this is a game that Arsenal must win for a multitude of reason.
United don't look much like losing at the moment, City are title contenders and they are both
sitting above us in the table.
This was probably Benzema's most decisive Real Madrid goal to date..So it seems we are heading for a period of stretched resources for Real Madrid. Given our knack
for early exits in the Copa Del Rey in the last few seasons (coupled with the ridiculous
justification of ‘it helps with our La Liga campaign), we now find ourselves playing a game every
3 days for the month of January.
Emmanuel Adebayor won't be playing in the Premier League the rest of the season, but it's not
like he's been playing much to begin with for Manchester City.
The 26-year-old striker, who rose to stardom with the Gunners before leaving for Manchester
City, has been sent to Real Madrid on loan for the rest of the season to try and boast Jose
Mourinho's attack.
It was just a matter of time. Mourinho was unhappy at Real Madrid, and the Portuguese had been
whining consistently for a center-forward after Gonzalo Higuain's back injury. Emmanuel Adebayor
didn't fit into Roberto Mancini's plans at Manchester City, especially considering that Manchester
City went out and bought Edin Dzeko in this mid-season transfer window.

Yesterday we won against Ipswich at home in a 3-0 victory (a score I predicted). It was a great
game that had a fair amount of tension built up after a scoreless first half. We never really
looked in doubt though, given the amount of pressure we were putting on their goal.
I was a bit nervous after seeing the line-up.
One was pushed, one jumped. Both were idiots and their archaic chauvinism wore out a long time
ago. Thankfully, that is the end of them.
On the pitch however, Dimitar Berbatov showed just how much he has adapted to his new, adopted
home country by going out binging. The Bulgarian obviously likes to wallow around biding his time
and then goes crazy, unleashing himself on whoever happens to be there at the time.
Mourinho was finally granted his wish after several debates within the Real Madrid organization,
but did "The Special One" receive the player he really desired; a striker who's barely played and
scored goals this season? Prior to this agreement, the likes of Van Nistelrooy, Tevez and Llorente
were linked with a January transfer to the Bernabeu.

Dzeko moved to Manchester City. Adebayor was loaned to Real Madrid. Darren Bent is now an Aston
Villa man. And is Fernando Torres the next big 20+ goalscoring striker to move clubs? Perhaps.

Javier Camuñas nets his second of the year.
Javier Camuñas' toe poke after a mess of a defensive play was just enough to bring victory to
the Pamplona side, who saw off Real Madrid from their lowly spot at the edge of the relegation
zone. The 30 yr old Spaniard was the bright spot in attack for the team who are a full 30 points
behind their opponents, and though he'll take most of the praise today it was in fact the defensive
effort that gave Los Rojillos the chance at the win.

As young children, we sincerely believed in a world of perfect communication between our
parents. When mom said no to ice cream, we scurried over to our father. His first question?
What did your mother say? Predictable, stable, coherent, only in the early stages of
adolescence would we see hiccups in the assembly line of authority.
