UPDATE: The nine-month-married couple are said to be divorcing. Pato has
already fled their shared home for a hotel as Sthef's mother, Sandra, is helping her migrate back
to Brazil.
The saddest part? Sthef signed a pre-nup, meaning she walks away from the short-lived experience
with nada.
Just two quick videos. Check out Iker kiss Sara on air here, and Camacho calling the Iniesta
goal. These two videos are only a small dose of the emotion right now, it has been a magnificent
day! Further review to come after Ade is done partying in the streets. For [read more]

So far this season, Pies has asked you Which Chelsea player winds you up the most? You voted
for Didier Drogba. Then we asked you the same question of Man Utd. You voted for Comrade Gary
Neville excellent choice, sir/madam. Then came Arsenal. You went for charming Emmanuel Eboue.
The squad is pretty much set for South Africa. We have the likes of: Xavi, Puyol, Pique,
Iniesta, Busquets. . .oh wait this isn't Barcelona (although they're all in the squad).
Minimizing my bias for a second, the squad is set in stone. However, there are quite a few
players who have recently joined La Roja, who are on the fringe or are just on the outside looking
in.
We have been talking about the World Cup alot over the past few months because, well its in a
month or so and who wouldnt want to talk about it? But we also must consider the team's future
beyond the World Cup. Ade did a great post on some of the possible retirees that will deplete the
Spain squad after the World Cup, or maybe after Euro 2012.
It has been an amazing month of football, and for everyone associated with the Spanish World Cup
blog and the entire website, I want to thank everyone who read the posts and left comments (bonus
points for comments!) before, during and after the tournament. Ade, Jeremy, Cam and myself of
course would not have done this if we did expect great reactions from the readers, so again, thanks
for making this a pleasurable experience.
Ade discussed the squad list for the Mexico friendly and the various controversies surrounding
the match, but I wanted to point out a lighter side of this friendly. And that is the partying
habits of the young Mexican team, which Marca was so gracious to provide for all of us. Below is a
few select pictures, and the entire gallery can be found here.

This is the Emmanuel Adebayor City fans wanted to see when he was signed from Arsenal. But the
Togolese striker can do it against mediocre teams like Lech Poznan, but he has yet to do it in the
Premier League. All of which leaves one with the impression that Ade is something of a flat-track
bully, who easily loses heart and fails to make his mark against the best teams.
So Man Citeh have signed one of our hero's from the last 13 years.. Old Paddy, but not the Paddy
of old..
I don't want to tell the Man Citeh fans that he won't be anything like the Paddy we knew and
worshipped, I told a Citeh fan that Ade was a lazy tosser and give him six months he would go back
to his lazy offside ways.

Let the man take some baby steps...
Manchester City has confirmed that Emmanuel Adebayor may be ready to return to the club in time
for their Carling Cup leg against United.
Someone like Adebayor doesn't need to "get in shape" for a return to the Premier League, but he
is a guy who needs to be mentally ready to play again.

If you're unfamiliar with World Cup Blog, then allow me to explain: The blog you're reading now
is the front page, but the core of WCB is the multitude of team specific blogs, including one for
each of the World Cup 2010 teams.
The authors of these team blogs have forgotten more about their sides than I'll ever know, so I
decided to tap that knowledge by asking each of them a set of 10 questions.
Emmanuel Adebayor has threatened to leave Manchester City before the end of the transfer window.
The striker is ready to move on if there is an offer for him before 31 August as he fears spending
a large part of the season on the substitutes' bench if he stays.
Hey Ade! These guys might be willing to take you.
If there was ever a great start by Chelsea to a season, it has to be this one. The Blues have
won all their 5 league games convincingly creating a huge goal difference over their nearest
challengers Arsenal and Manchester United.
Chelsea prepare to face Manchester City on Saturday at Eastlands in a highly entertaining
fixture that could end the Blue's reign of terror.
Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed that he could join join Italian giants
Juventus. Ade fell down the pecking order in Eastlands after the arrivals of Mario Balotelli and
David Silva in the summer.
When this story first broke out immediately after City signed Balotelli, Mancini was quick to
refute claims that the 25 million Pound signing's playing days in the EPL were over.
Hi again, Matt
Steve & Ade (rt.) Whitaker watching Blackpool earn their promotion in May
The whole town of Blackpool, is still buzzing and on a high, I'm informing.
The fans are singing and chanting, regardless of whether we're winning, losing or drawing. We're
just enjoying the moment.
We could banter all day about the merits of Man City and the financial imbalance between MC and
the rest of the PL (ex. Chelsea), but three points are still to be settled today and they are to be
fought over by two fine squads of players. However one player stands head and shoulders above the
others and that is Cesc Fabregas.
Manchester City's Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor could be moving to Juventus if reports
doing the round are anything to go by. Adebayor has struggled for playing time only making 2
Premier League starts this season.
According to Ade, terms with the Italian giants have been agreed.

Blaugrana. Blue-red. The colours of Barça had to be the colours of my favourite kit, without a
doubt. But which one of the many blaugrana kits should I choose to write about above all
others?
