So when he was "named" coach/manager at the end of the 2009 season, Peter Vermes made it clear
that a new era was coming to Wizards soccer and ( I quote from the Kansas City Star article):
Vermes promises substantial changes in the Wizards' roster, a team he had a hand in building with
Onalfo.
So what can these changes in the roster be?
Loyal FBF readers will know that every year I put together a "What I Want For Christmas" (WIWFC)
series of blog posts. The posts examine the current state of DC United and make a list of
off-season additions that I feel would make the club better....
The Champions League once again brought together AC Milan and Manchester United in what is
one of the ties of the round. Milan have never lost to Man United in Europe and they will hoping to
keep that streak intact.
Beckham is already looking forward to the game saying:
"Just like Milan, Manchester United have an important European tradition," he said.
Barcelona
All Barcelona wants for X-mas is one more star to WOW the crowd. Lets be honest, Barcelona is
the club that is like the spoiled rich kid you knew growing up. They really don't need anything
at all!!!
But no matter what they already have they will continue to at least try to bring in some more
valuable pieces of the puzzle.
