Following soccer is like being in love with someone who's (a) gorgeous, (b) fascinating, (c)
possibly quite evil, and (d) only occasionally aware of your existence.5 There's a continuous
low-grade suffering that becomes a sort of addiction in its own right.6 You spend all your time
hoping they'll notice you, and they never do, and that unfulfilled hope feels like your only
connection to them.

"Ba! Huh! What did he sign for? Absolutely nuthin'! Sing it again
y'all!"
16 goals in his last 16 Premier League appearances, 15 league goals in total this season (over
half of Newcastle's cumulative haul), something like 24 in 28 since his move to England.
Sweet strike Demba Ba has revealed the secret of his stunning Premier League scoring streak:
strawberry syrup. The sweet-toothed Newcastle hitman needs his daily syrup fix to keep him on top
form. Speaking to Sky Sports before opening the scoring in tonight's match against Manchester
United, Ba said: "I love syrup.
Whilst browsing the comments on AA a few days ago I was quite taken by an exchange between FGG
and GN5 about the importance of football. How important is football and in particular Arsenal to me
I asked myself? Pondering the answer I could only come to one conclusion.... " A hell of a
lot".

I suppose it all started in the early seventies when as a kid my old man used to take me to
Highbury and I would sit on his shoulders.

THE FRIDAY CRACKOVIA CLUB
It's the first weekend of November, and Friday has come rollin'! Time for you to get a
dose of the best sketch comedy show in Barcelona...Crackovia! Pau
Escribano and his team of producers and actors have done it again this week, with
Pep Guardiola (seen above) getting annoyed at the trio of Puyol, Pique and
Fabregas (the 'moc moc' clan) for their Twitter addiction in the dressing
room.
Roberto Mancini's current success in building his multi talented and expensive squad at
Manchester City apparently gives him the addiction in keeping his job as long as possible, although
he understand that it won't be an easy task.
Mancini, who still have a year contract with the Eastlands after this season, admitted his wish
on continuing to coach Man City for years to come but there haven't been any talks made yet with
the club's management.

To be honest, we haven't found an addiction to Angry Birds has exactly helped us with

Using just a cuddly green pig, a football and some rather nifty skillz, UNC Asheville 'keepers

I woke up this morning eager as a beaver and highly anticipating the event as the day had finally
come. No I am not talking about our big match with FC Basel. Nope, I'm talking about the
release date in North America for my favorite addiction, FIFA 12. My life, my love and the reason

Morning all,
I spent the last few minute sipping my coffee, which was delicious, and reading the quotes from
Kieran Gibbs. He says, rightly enough, that we make too many mistakes, but that the mistakes are
due to our attacking nature. He also says the players need to get behind the manager because what
he's done is incredible and says that the team are united and working hard to put the difficult
times behind them.

Don McMahon Being an Arsenaloholic Season after season, week after week, month after month, Cup
after Cup, run-in after run-in I stay glued to the TV or computer alternately surmounted by
euphoria or equally often pummeled into an abyss of despair. Where does this Gooner addiction come
from and what are its consequences?
Hi. My name is Will. And I'm addicted to Arsenal.
It started the first time I saw an Arsenal game, when Thierry Henry pulled off the goal of the
season against Manchester United on September 20th 2000. At that time, it was hard to get your
hands on Arsenal because in the States it was still a new thing.
