by donning Santa hats to sing Jingle Bells for a festive video. Ironically, the only player who
didn't bother to don St Nick's headwear was his namesake, Roque Santa Cruz.

The Fifa World Footballer of the Year has been named as Lionel Messi, the Argentine and
Barcelona striker, fending off last year's winner the former Man U star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 22-year-old became the first Argentine to win the award since it began in 1991.
Newcastle, guilty of missing some great chances to put the game away, ended 2009 firing blanks.
There was plenty of endeavour, and arguably we've played worse and won, but the match against Derby
was one that won't be remembered fondly by many NUFC fans.
