This 'article' sure is something... Laura Williamson has apparently been keeping tabs on what

When speaking to friends who follow other MLS teams (OMG, not allowed, amirite?), I have been
talking up the Crew's tremendous midfield depth. The MLS, to put it bluntly, has sucked some big
ones in the last couple of years in the CONCACAF Champions League (Houston last/this year being the
notable exception).
While I am a big fan of European soccer, I am not one of those MLS fans who are constantly red in
the face from yelling that the MLS should keep the same schedule as European soccer. I get why the
season is when it is. Competing against the NFL is like me [...]
I've been dreading writing this post for a while now. It is not because of the result. A result
in which the Crew played probably their best match of the season, but were just caught exposed once
in the back and it was enough to only come away with one point. The Black and Gold were once again
a patch work squad, with Robbie Rogers, Frankie Hejduk, and
Pat Noonan unavailable.
